*NEWER* Community Blacklist

I've added him as a leech scammer due to another report, but considering he's claiming that it was a game-error that cause your items to be lost, you can try posting a report in Character Issues to see if they can find the items. This way, if the staff feels as though there is enough information in your report, they can look into whether he indeed scammed you or if the items were indeed lost and they can refund them to you. In the best case, you could actually have enough information for him to be banned for scamming if he doesn't return the item.

To be honest, looking at the conversation it looks like a situation that got out of hand that you guys can handle yourselves. If the harassment ever gets out of hand, you can make a Report Abuse report since harassment is against the terms and conditions, but you should try and handle it yourselves if possible.

I've added him to the blacklist as a scammer.

Considering he doesn't appear to have been scamming anyone on his new characters yet, I don't see a real reason to add those to the list as well. I don't see a reason to try and prevent him from playing a new legit character after being clean for this long.

He gained your map perfectly fairly and within the rules set out by the server. I don't see any reason for him to be added to the blacklist.

 

Why is that fairly? I was attacking the whole time before he entered the map.

 

But you weren't the map owner, so it was fair game.

This isn't a place to say why scamming isn't bannable. If you would do a little research, there have been many threads on why the majority of scamming issues cannot be bannable (#1 reason being that it is hard to prove). Another is that we are not here to be your safety net. We don't do refunds for user error. So if you pressed that trade button or bought some arrows, that's your choice.

Furthermore, all we have is hearsay and inconclusive ss's. While multiple people reporting it makes it likely, it does not provide concrete evidence. The few times that there has been hard evidence (undeniable proof) + it was unavoidable, people have been banned.

We do not ban for things like myshop and his ap reset trick because you can just as easily refuse to do the arrow trade. There is also plenty of evidence on the forums to be avoid falling for this petty trick. If people would take 10 seconds to do a forum search before giving away their mesos, it would save them a lot of hassle. They always seem to have time after it happens, but not before.

Also, once someone is blacklisted, they will rarely be taken on runs again as long as you make it known. Many people have had to give up on their scamming and remake *legit* charactersbecause they were being deliberately avoided. Again, you can choose to take only people you trust/know. If it's worth risking adding a random to a party, that's on you.

to @lilaznpnk you can Remove Zico/Worker and Haul from the Blacklist as he has been perma banned from the server for quite some time now.

Seems like an active scammer. He scammed us during our run. He took Genesis 20 and ran with it.

It's pretty clear (to me) he has no intentions of repaying anyone for the instances he's being accused of. Ever since he was (in his own opinion) incorrectly banned for KSing, and blamed it on the GM's not doing their job, he decided to find loopholes in the system to "get back" at the community, namely loot- and leech scamming.

 

There's no reason not to give him a chance to correct himself. I'd rather take it slow and give people a chance to get their money back (he does have one case on the forums in which he claims he refunded the person) instead of adding them onto the blacklist, and just pissing them off and leaving the ones scammed SOL.

Reason for blacklisting: Scamming fame in fm and extortion
Details (include picture if applicable): Sitting in fm saying B>defame 1m and then not paying to several people. He also traded me and said pay me 500k or i'll defame you, I didn't pay and he defamed me which is extortion. Although minor offenses it shows the quality of his character and would be cautious about interacting with him in future.
