Hi Everyone, There will be a server check today 7th March 2016 at 23:45 Server Time (GMT), lasting for approximately 15 minutes. The game will be inaccessible during this time. Changes during this server check: End of Valentine and Lunar events. Herb Town PQ is now fixed and working for levels 55-200. So gather up a party of 3-6 and head to "Herb Town - Over The Pirate Ship" to start the quest! PQ and Boss timers will now get cancelled properly after finishing or failing the PQ or Boss. Fixed some issues regarding not being able to set up Hired Merchants. The MapleRoyals Staff. If you notice any strange issues occurring since this server check please do not hesitate to create a thread in the support forum.
The EXP reward calculations are similar to how they were on GMS, but have been increased and balanced to ensure that the EXP makes the PQ worthwhile for lower level parties, whilst also making it not overpowered if you have high levels in the party. The PQ itself should be in a state where it is a viable place to gain experience for levels 55-100 as it was originally intended, however we have increased the limit to 200, to allow all players to be able to experience the PQ and have a chance of obtaining the Lord Pirate Hats. Of course it is always hard to judge EXP rates before going live, so some adjustments may be made after release.
55-100 seems quite nice, but it seems like it would overlap with LMPQ. I'm worried about how this new PQ will affect the current LMPQ players population.
It's how it was in GMS, and having options isn't a bad thing. In GMS not many people did this PQ for leveling because it just wasn't great EXP.
question regarding the slime event - you guys technically ended the event 1 day early. When it said the event ended on 8th of March, I assumed it was 11:59PM on march 8th. I have 30/30 for ring, any way you guys can gift me a ring?
