Hey guys! Been gone for a while and might be making a comeback, but I first have some questions! Now, I understand how HP washing works in general, 10 INT = 1 extra MP, use AP Reset to remove excess MP into HP, -16 mp for Pirates per wash etc. BUT! Buccaneers have MaxHP Increase which gives +40 hp for putting AP directly into HP rather than washing it from MP. So, how do I make this work? Lets say I'm at lvl 33 with 160 INT and maxed MaxHP Increase. I level up once, I have 5 AP. Put 1 of those into HP and then wash out the MP into STR? In essence, instead of going 5 AP to STR and then MP>HP, I go 4 AP to STR, 1 AP to HP, and then MP>STR? EDIT: Shooting for tanking BF at 13x HP wise.
Yes you put points in to hp then take point out of mp to put back in to your main stat. You can't take points out of MP if you never put any points in to HP/MP. The reason hp washing works is HP/MP shares the same point pool so when you put points in to hp you can take points out of mp to compensate. So your understanding of hp washing was wrong, you put points in to hp, take points out of mp to put in to stat.
It is very much possible. One of the current buccs (Mood) who is now inactive has not washed and still kills BF. I believe he used a combination of corkscrew blow > move away from bf a little > barrage > repeat
