How can you get banned when you are talking with your friends?

I'm not literally saying that the community would be better without the staff. What I ment is the fact that alot of players get banned for the most ridicolous reasons that usually dont make any sense. It's honestly sad that you can't talk to ur friends in an "edgy" way. The worst part about this mass banning spre is the fact that the victim never gets a secound saying. If the decision is made, its made. Theres no lawsuit, no way to defend yourself. If Human Rights applied in video games, Royals would honestly be acused for breaking them. Your not allowed freedom of speech, etc. The staff is acting like a dictatorship, if they see something they dont like, they'll force you to change it, or ban you.

Back in the days when I played this game actively, I was forced to change my gamertag without any real explaination. They deemed it as "Offensive" but they had a hard time explaining why it was offensive. (My gamertag was "Virginator", which is my gamertag in GMS aswell". I even asked a bunch of 0ther staff memebers from other communities if they found that gamertag offensive. Most of them didnt. Which shows how power-hungry and strict the staff members are.

Honestly the staff have only made this game less fun for me, and I know alot of other members of this community can relate.

I study on dual qualification (highschool and vocational high school) at the same time, my father used to be a cop and he was one of the protectors of Bosnian president, i am studying as a security officer, and i am become a policeman and study veterinary medicine. If we could use human rights here and freedom of speech, this server would be hella good. I mean ''maplestory it's your story''

 

Well this topic spiraled out of control. I just want to say that this server is a private community. Basically, Matt bought some toys and let others play with them. If you don't like the rules you have to follow to play with the toys, then don't play with them. If you don't follow the rules you have to follow in order to play with the toys, they'll be taken away from you. Simple as that.

As I replied earlier in this thread, the portion of the T&C that was being discussed in this thread is pretty simple. If for some reason you misunderstood what's acceptable and what's not, we understand, and that is why a 3 day ban is given the first time. It makes it clear to the user such activity is not tolerated, while at the same time is nothing excessive or extreme. From that point forward, you have 2 more chances before you are no longer welcome back. Just use common sense. The GMs honestly have no desire to "go on a power trip" and ban people, but we have to when the rules are being broken in order to maintain a safe, friendly, and fun community for all.
