An excerpt from a much earlier thread: I've tested this and found exactly the same problem as Alyo. When you click on the completed quest in Trainer Bartos, no dialog window appears. NPC-chat spamming doesn't help.

This involved buying a Pet Snack for 2.5k in the cash shop, but now I can't give the item to the NPC as when I click on the quest nothing happens. Can I please have the NX refunded, and can the Pet Snack items please be unavailable for purchase, as it has no other purpose? Oh, the actual name of the quest is "The secret method"
Hi, thanks for letting us know, but this has already been reported: http://royals.ms/forum/showthread.php?t=6611 The Pet Snack items do have another purpose - they will massively increase your closeness with your pet.
Sorry, didn't even think to check for other reports. For those of us who don't care about closeness, it is useless. Can I still get the item refunded because I bought it for the quest?
I think it's highly unlikely, since the quest has already been reported as bugged, but I will ask admin.
oooooooo that's even better!!!!! I can most certainly wait a few more days. I'll hold onto my pet snack and keep my fingers crossed that soon I can use it to have more pets following me around
Not of the useful variety, no! I need to get a copy of the script for Trainer Bartos from the live server, as the one on the test server doesn't even include this quest. Edit: looks like the coding for this quest is in the xmls not the NPC .js scripts, so you'll have to wait for someone else to sort this, sorry!
