I find the graphics, the maps, the monsters, the sounds and the game play in general to be nostalgic. Whenever I visit a map, I can think back on the time I spent in there, many years ago. And I can find joy in that. Isn't that literally nostalgia? I don't really get your question.
Royals is nostalgic on every level to me and basically everyone who plays... don't you ever find it quite odd that you're mainly the only one ever saying stuff like this out of the daily, thousands of players...
Maps like GS2 being occupied by aspiring clerics and priests from dawn till dusk. Having an obligatory tetris effect after 10 hours of grinding. The feels you get when you fly the ship from Ellinia to Orbis again for the first time in 7 years. Zakum Jump Quest still being your eternal nightmare even after all those years. I dunno, sounds like nostalgia to me!
Think about boat rides, training places, the exp rates and how easy this nostalgic server actually is, level 1-100 in 1 week? ......
I like how fast, yet challenging enough it is. It's like good old times on vanilla except you have to imagine you're using a 4x EXP card from the Cash Shop. It's not that fast anyway. It's just the right amount of a boost. At least that is how I feel.

Maybe im doing something wrong, but its taken me almost 2 weeks of 3-4 hours a day to get to level 60. No leeching, just grinding out levels on my own. Not everyone is in a rush to hit 4th job
We're here because we didn't like the extreme grindiness of v62. Boats will be working post source. We obviously didn't want to be 1x/1x, so we're not. There's a server that caters to that type experience. If you want something more similar to that experience, you're more than welcome to go there. Please stop complaining about how things are here and comparing it to other places. If it bothers you that much and there is a different place that offers those things that you want, then instead of complaining about Royals wouldn't it just make more sense to go there...? We aren't Legends. We aren't trying to compete Legends. Royals is just doing Royals things. I think everyone here agrees that MapleRoyals is nostalgic and that's also why they're here. To answer your question, you must understand that it is really subjective, it is like, asking people that do they enjoy eating a particular food. You can't expect everyone to yield the same answer and the food to please everyone. If everyone behave like you, then, how you expect a server to please every single players? Should something be removed because I don't like it? or should it not be removed because someone likes it? You gotta understand that, this server or any other server, isn't made specifically to suit one's interest. You gotta learn to adapt to the game, instead of complaining the defects and flaws that you think exists in the game when someone has already made the effort to set up a server like this. Also, you have to understand that, your opinions, to a certain extend doesn't really matter. For instance, you said how the exp rates are making the game too easy, so what do you expect? Should we change the exp rate to x1 because of your opinion? Or even when 90% of the players agrees, do you think it's practical to do so? Personally, I don't fond the existence of 4th job, should I create a thread requesting to remove them? No, I have the choice not to advance and I will not criticise people to advance to 4th job, leeching, in your case. Seriously, try to concentrate on how you will enjoy the game instead of looking for the flaws of it. ...
