Question is simple How much (impossible) weapon attack would a Dragon Faltizan need in order to beat a perfect Sky Ski (if we forget about the acc bonus). Also, does it matter what potion we would use? Does an onyx apple or red cider make a difference?
Sky Ski does a crusher every 1050th millisecond, while a Faltizan takes 1140 milliseconds. So say you have a Ski With 134 ATT, which is almost perfect, you need a Faltizan with over 145 ATT. I'll look more into this later, but at least for now I think the calculations are right.
Yeah as I stated, I am kind of looking how much attack a Faltizan would need if it would go above the highest possible. in order to beat a Sky Ski
I believe you need the Dragon Faltizan to be at least 6.1% more attack than the Sky Ski with Spear Booster and at least 7% with Speed Infusion.
139 att = Max Sky Ski attack 152 att = Max Dragon Faltizan attack 139 / 100 * 107 = 149. Wouldn't that make the Dragon Faltizan better
I'm not sure a Dragon Faltizan can have 152 ATT. What do you base that on? According to the Library, it can only have 112 clean, and according to Hidden-Street, it can have 115 clean. That would be 147 and 150 respectively, if perfectly scrolled. According to my calculations (I'll try post them later, so you can check if they are correct) a 151 ATT Faltizan would be better than a Sky Ski (about 0,06% better DPS) and a 150 ATT one would be 99,39% the DPS of a 139 ATT Sky Ski. So the difference isn't very big. A perfect weapon is simply good! However, there is another advantage with Sky Ski, and also with the Faltizan, that I noticed when I used both (or rather, a Sky Ski and an Alchupiz) in GMS. When you 1-hit mobs with both weapons, it's better if you do it with an as fast weapon as possible, making the Ski better. If you don't 1-hit with the Ski, but with the Faltizan, then of course the Faltizan is better. When you kill Big Foot, there's two ways of doing it. In one way, weapon speed doesn't matter, since you have to wait for Big Foot's hit animation to end, making the strongest weapon better.
The godly max range is 117 so add in 35 attack and that'll be 152. Don't ever use the hidden-street numbers. They're almost never accurate. It's not that simple I think. Attack isn't the only thing that's calculated in damage range, it's just one part. You have to figure out the conjunction with Str and Dex which is different for everyone.
You are forgetting to factor in the attack from the other attack items such as gloves, cape etc. as well as attack potions. The calculation should be Total attack * Speed. Here's a rough comparison I did a while back; https://royals.ms/forum/threads/spear-speed-question.20295/#post-117199
This was my assumption earlier, but I don't think it's that simple because what you want to calculate is the range, not just weapon attack because the more Str you have, the more potent weapon attack will be.
Here is the solution to the problem. If you have a perfect Sky Ski and a perfect Faltizan, you will need 62,5 additional attack (Glove, pot etc.) for the Sky Ski and Faltizan to have the same damage per second, using crusher with booster. This means that if you're using an Onyx Apple you'll deal more damage with the Sky Ski.
Sorry, this is false and all my calculations are wrong. I forgot about Booster. The correct intervals are 930 and 990 milliseconds respectively. Captain Calibre's answer should be 100% correct.
I know this post isbold, but If u got a perfect ski and a perfect faltizsn u dont need dps u Just slap monsters with money on the face, because u have to be insanely rich XD
