So i followed this guide by Tim (https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how...graphical-glitches-closing-your-client.16643/) and finally got everything to download and work. However when i finally open royals the message "Failed in finding proper screen mode for G42D I really need help fixing this because I need to zak soon if possible. Thanks alot! A few things you can try are Change compatibility on the client Install/reinstall VMare tools If you changed the screen resolution change it back to default Run the Setup in the MapleRoyals folder
What should I change the compatibility to? And how do i run a setup in the mapleroyals folder.? Sorry im really bad with computers.. my compatibility is the windows 98/windows me which was what tim said in his guide. Also how do i run a setup ? Want to try to resintall vmware last if possible cause it took me forever to follow all the steps and such :/
If you have it on windows 98 it's already correct. The setup you just simply double click on it in your MapleRoyals folder. Reinstalling VMware tools not the entire VMware, in the top left corner it says Player click on it and go down to Manage and then Reinstall vmware tools.
I was having the same error pop up. I am trying to run a windows XP VM thru "VirtualBox" on Mac, but since I'm not using VMWare specifically, I'm not sure if I can reinstall VMWare tools.. Is there a way to do this on Mac?
