Before I do my giga giveaway and throw away every penny I have, I've decided to test the waters with a much different kind of giveaway.​

The Prizes:

1x 5 luk - 48 weapon att. Maple Skanda
1x 10 luk Yellow Adventurer Cape
1x 16 luk Men's Bathrobe
and (depending on turnout/participation) 1x 12 weapon att. Work Glove
For a total value of approx. 400m

Requirements:

1) Must be an active member for 1 week or longer
2) Must have an assassin level 40-100
3) Can not have more than one MapleRoyals offense

How to win:

Make a post in this thread telling me the level of your assassin and why you want the prize. If you want to win, try doing something clever or giving me a really good reason to want to give it to you. The winner will not be random. I pick the winner based on the above specifications.

Once again, this small giveaway was made to test the waters for future giveaways. If this goes well, I will give away some of my better items (10+ atk facestompers/pgcs, wg's, 54atk+ skandas, better bathrobes etc.) My intention is to give to someone who really wants it/deserves it. I am not trying to make the rich richer. I want to get an up and coming assassin caught up with some of the more wealthy players.

I am level 44 and my IGN is MeatGrinder. I would like to win because I want to grind some meat on some monsters with high damage. Plus, I hate being a poor bum that hits less than a beginner. :/

 

My level of assassin is 46 my IGN is ButtCrack I wanna do some pretty good damage.
I'm kinda new here joined like a week ago, I don't really have any reasons to give you.. I just really need one of those stuff lol but I will play here alot so it won't be a lost.
I really like this serv, it's really like the global only need a few more players around and it will be great.

My name is ThermalBlast and i have not yet made an assassin but the reason for that is exactly because I don't have the equips or the money for it. I tested my luck and tried to scroll 3 wgs and wasted 100m at that so im broke lmao. This giveaway will give me the opportunity to create my sin that i've been waiting to make!! Hiya! My name's Ian and I've got a level 45 assassin (IGN Eternity). I'm a retro player and just started playing for the first time since I quit GMS in like 2007. Maybe 2008? But it was right around v.65 or so. I think I've been here about a week and am blown away by the community. Joined with some old friends of mine since I'm off at school and don't get to see them often. Lets us hang out. I want to win these prizes because it would help me push past the highest level I ever got to in old GMS, which was like 63 or so. I have no idea what the game is like when you get to 3rd job and beyond and I'm so excited to get there. But that also means I would be better able to give back to my friends and help them get on the same level, meaning actual level and wealth and gearwise.

Regardless, this thread is a golden example of why this community is awesome, so thank you.

UPDATE: I hit 50! ..and am still rocking my 34atk Kandayo
UPDATE 2: I hit 63!!! I'm 30% and fiending for a Skanda. I'm about to be the highest level I've ever been in Maplestory. Holy balls.

Me and my brother both got a NL to level 133 the night after BB patch was rolled out in leafre at newties. And something clever or witty to convince you? Heres a joke.

I've been getting some questions about how I'll choose the winner.

Yes, the point of this competition is to get starting assassins caught up with the older players, but I will not disregard others. You can have a level 180 main and a level 50 assassin and you could still win.

A while back ago I started playing this server. I've made several characters because I just couldn't decide what job I was going to play.. :/ But I decided to try leveling an Assassin / Night Lord (eventually), since they really are profitable when you manage to level them to higher levels and fund them. Currently I'm a lvl 52 Assassin and I'd really really want to win an item to help me on "my journey". I want to give this Assassin a big "GO" instead of just quitting like the other characters I made. So far I'm not planning on quitting because the feeling of being an Assassin is a great feeling to me, and I hope I'll manage to play this character til' his highest potential levels!

If I actually end up winning something I'm really thankful. And I find it really nice of you doing something like this for other players. Respect!
