I will be hosting the challenge with the most votes Below you'll find the definition behind each challenge that I could think off. Suggestions for changes are welcome. Spoiler: v39 challenge v39 challenge This challenge basically means that you can only make use of things that came before v48. That means you won't be able to get 4th job! Here is what stats you must apply. This also means that Showa and Mushroom shrine are also restricted! Also take note to that you're unable to advance to third job! Just not advance jobs after the first. For this challenge you may use your items. But you may not party with anyone that is above the first job! What would be your thoughts on NLC and Florina Island with regards to the Victoria Island challenge? IMO Florina Island should certainly count as part of Victoria Island. NLC is accessible via train from Kerning city and is a very short journey. So would that be counted as the same continent or is it something similar to the channel tunnel?
@NeedJob NLC no, Florina yes @Yan That's true, but this isn't a part of a lower version challenge. It's a level challenge, and I personally like noticing challenges at an early level. Also, a first job challenge is a lot harder than a second job challenge but I might change it if the majority prefers are second job challenge. But the problem with that would be that you wouldn't notice anything at all until you hit level 71.
Just a heads up, if the Victoria Island challenge gets the most votes there's some things you need to put note to. You won't be able to get items higher than level 70 from monsters (so maple weapons are your best bet if you're not going to gachapon) The highest level monsters are (I think taurospears) There's no advancing to third job The cheap NLC potions are unobtainable Ciders and other good attack potions are unobtainable You may still Amoria PQ (but only in the challenge guild) Getting good throwing stars is excessively hard I personally voted for Victoria Island and v49 challenge. What did you vote for ?
I voted for V49 + Victoria Island challenges. They seem very similar, but both appeal. I'd probably lean toward the Vic Island challenge slightly more.
The Victoria Island challenge is almost like a v13 challenge, except for where you're able to obtain 60+ items from gachapon and maple weapons from monsters.

I gave my vote to the Victoria Island Challenge because it's the one I would realistically try out. I love Victoria Island so much! Just for knowledge's sake, some Maple Weapons do not drop in Vic (mostly lvl 64 ones, i.e. Victorian mages won't have access lvl 64 Wands / Staves). Here's a quick list (hope it's correct! - reference): Spoiler: Maple Weapons not available in Vic Lvl 20 Maple Shield Lvl 35: Maple Sword, Maple Crow Lvl 43: Maple Soul Singer, Maple Storm Finger Lvl 64: Maple Cannon Shooter, Maple Golden Claw, Maple Skanda, Maple Asura Dagger, Maple Glory Sword, Maple Karstan, Maple Soul Spear, Maple Wisdom Staff, Maple Belzet, Maple Shine Wand
Just a heads up. Seeing that either the Victoria Island or v49 is probably going to be chosen. If you like, you could already level a character to 30 (by following the rules of both challenges). I'm currently deciding on a guilds name. The Logo of the guild will be the same as the ''Mark of Beta'' Item. Red leaf black background. (for nostalgia purposes :>) I already reserved the guild name ''Beta'' but if the Victoria Island challenge is going to be taken, I might consider changing it to something the majority prefers.
I like both to be honest. If I had to choose, I would say that v. 48 is pretty great. Similar enough to the Victoria Island challenge, but enough content to keep people around! More pq's open and the guild name Beta especially swayed me to this challenge lulz. LPQ/LMPQ/etc. were always an aspect of the game that brought back some serious nostalgia. +1 from me!
