You're able to boss at 135+ because you can leech at that level. If you want to Zakum, you have to have a party that will allow you to be there. I/L at Zakum is hard because their main attack skill (Chain Lightning) can lure other mobs and get in the way of the other attackers. Blizzard is not your ideal skill because it can DC people on the run.
Yeah, it just means the only thing I/L mage can do is leveling till 200 because no one want us in bosses. Why i play this for....
If you want to boss, you can make an attacker. You can use your I/L (with HS mule) to leech your other characters. Making an attacker will allow you to boss, since your main comments are about you wanting to Zakum. You don't have to stick with training an I/L
missing from both guides, F/P and I/L is a chart that I feel is very important to mages. Could you possibly add a chart, like the one found in the bishop guide, that lists the required magic to 1 hit k/o the mobs at the leeching maps? (magic required at level 10, 20, and 30 of the ultimate skills) Most people just know the magic required for Petris is 1285.
It doesn't depend on magic only, int matters too. Here is a table that you can edit to see exactly what mobs you can kill in how many hits: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/mage-damage-google-sheet.69170/ Note that this is your minimum hit, so if it shows 2, it is possible that you can 1 hit them 80% of the time, but until it is 100% of the time, it will say 2.
Uh oh, I didn't know improving MP recovery also gained more MP per level. I thought that was just improving max MP increase. Guess I'm screwed lol
Don't worry! You will have extra SP that does not need to be put into a lot of skills like Slow, Seal, and Elemental Composition. They are not very useful for you so you could use those points for MP increase. I hope this helps! Good luck
But doesnt improving mp recovery just increase the amount of mp you recover when you are standing idle? Improving max mp makes sense, but not recovery. By definition i mean. Idk if this server has changed it or not
Awesome guide! Question: with wolf spider becoming more and more popular, are there any alternatives to leveling from 70-90?
thank you very much! unfortunately, there aren't many good training spots with decent exp that i really know of, but probably either keep training around ghost ship area (that's what i did for awhile till around level 80). by that time, if you're willing to spend some money, i suggest buying goby leech from a bishop with SI. then you can move forward and leech ulu for a little, or if you're strong enough, you can start training at himes with a priest hope this helps! would love more feedback and better training spots from level 70-90!
Hello~ Have you ever considered Dark Wyverns at Canyon: West Road as a viable training location? The map is laid out in a way that there's only 3 sections that spawn large amounts of wyverns and 2 of them have platforms where you can't be hit (or at least very unlikely)
i have never considered that! i never knew wyverns were even good exp haha. i will certainly check it out, thank you~ edit: guide has been altered slightly, i hope it all looks good! if you have feedback, let me know. you can either post here or directly message me through PM. thank you!
thank you very much for this guild. However, how to increase magic attack to the cape or earring and how to increase INT to the shoes? Cause there are no such kind of scrolls in this version.
no problem! for capes scrolls, they only give int (which is ok since int gives more mp). earring int 60/70% give 1 int and 1 matt while 10/30% give 3 int 5 matt i believe. to increase the shoes int, unfortunately there are no scrolls for shoes for int. you'll have to chaos it in order to increase the int. good luck!
