BARBELL's 1m (1,000,000) NX GIVEAWAY

Thats right folks it's giveaway time again, and this time (because boobs is dead) we're doing it publicly.

The Contest
I am going to make this simple, it will be nearly the same contest as one I have run previously. To enter, you will make a playlist of no more than twelve songs, and submit it to me either by PM or by posting here. The playlist should be a "Pump Up" playlist, however here is the difference from my last contest - before, "Pump Up" meant a playlist to get me ready for the Gym and my Rugby matches. This time, YOU must select something that your playlist is intended to get the listener excited/in the mood for, and submit it along with your playlist.

The Scoring
Theme /10
Variety /10
Build /10
Energy /10
Intangibles​

What does this mean?
Theme is a measure of how well your playlists fits the theme you have chosen, scored from 0-10.
Variety is measure of how many different kinds of music you can pull into the playlist, scored from 0-10.
Build is a measure of how well each song flows into the next one, scored from 0-10.

The above categories will be averaged to provide a first score.

Energy is a measure of how successful your song is at getting me "pumped" or how well I imagine it would excite me for your chosen activity, scored from 0-10.
Energy score will be added to your averag score.

Intangibles are anything else I wish to give points for. They are half a point each and will be added to your Previous score to provide a final score. In the event of a tied final score, whoever submitted the current version of their playlist first will win.

The Prizes
First Prize: 500k NX, no minimum number of entries
Second Prize: 300k NX, requires at least seven entries*
Third Prize: 100k NX, requires at least ten entries**

Bonus Prizes: No minimum number of entries
50k NX to the individual who uses the best song I've NEVER heard before (i.e. my new favorite)
50k to the individual who uses the best song I HAVE heard before (i.e. my old favorite)
*, ** if less than these number of individuals enter, I will not award a second or third prize and will save that amount of NX for future giveaways.

Prizes will be delivered in AP resets unless the winner has another preference.
Please don't make me gach 1m NX of tickets or I will cry.

Rules/Restrictions
1. Playlists are restricted to 12 songs or less; there is no minimum.
2. One submission per person. Submissions posted to this thread may be edited at any time before the judging. Submissions through PM are final once submitted.
3. The contest opens when this thread is posted and closes Friday, April 29th 2016 at 11:59 PM EST.
4, You must provide a link to a place I can listen to your (full) song, to prevent issues of miscommunication.
5. No police/fire/ambulance sirens permitted at any time in any song, you will be DQ'd and not allowed to resubmit. Air raid/tornado sirens are fine.
6. This is not a rule, it is a suggestion. I only speak english and it is recommended that your song selection keep that in mind.

The THEME of this playlist is Adrenaline & Motivation

To help kick life's ass! I listen to these songs when I'm at the gym to get my adrenaline flowing or when I'm not feeling enough motivation a certain day. I throw on some of these songs and it helps me quit acting like a little princess. There is no set genre for this playlist. I can listen to almost anything but these are some of my favorite genres.

WARNING the last song will make your chest hair grow uncontrollably and if you have any animals I advise you to put them far away so they do not grow into a Lion or a Dragon. I saved the best for last and IMO it pumps me up like no other! Listen to them in any order but if you only listen to one song to workout to you have to listen to "The One" at least once!

If you're talking about something like THIS go right ahead (it will count as one song). If you're talking about a more extended mix, it kinda defeats the purpose of me putting a 12 song limit. Use your discretion, or PM me if you want a ruling on a specific item.

Description:
The best time to listen to this playlist is right before you sleep. Make sure you're completely relaxed before you start it!

If you turn off the lights and close your eyes, you'll start to imagine you're a main character with an epic story. You will experience traveling to different towns, fighting in a war, and even fall in depression over the death of a loved one. The final battle will bring out the worst in you, but that's when you realize it's over. When the playlist ends, you wonder what just happened..

Theme? Writing inspiration. What that means to me is basically anything with lyrics or melodies that will evoke certain feelings, mostly revolving around emotions. I put these songs (and others similar) on when I get into heavy roleplay scenes that need a certain "feel" to it, but they're also moving enough to get my mind running with ideas.

 

There has been some confusion about the whole "theme/activity" part of the contest. While it is perfectly acceptable to submit a playlist that gets you hyped for a workout (I can always use more lifting music) you can also submit a playlist hat gets you hyped for any other activity you can think of.

Road trips. Friday night parties. Grinding on maple. Doing your homework. A first date. Waking up in the morning. Going to Disney world. Bungee jumping. Wrecking noobs in League. Anything you can come up with. The more creative/unusual the theme, the more favorable your "theme" scoring will be.

Love this idea! I'm sure a YouTube playlist is the easiest way to put together and share. Can Spotify be used as well? I'd personally like to use Spotify to make the playlist and share it, but I'm not sure on the limitations of listening (ads, etc) if you don't have a premium membership. Lastly, if YouTube is used, I think it's only fair for the person judging to ignore the videos, as the videos can add or subtract on the value of the different categories (Theme, Build, ENERGY, etc), am I correct?

I don't have a premium account, but ads will be ignored and I'll be listening to the playlist several times to get a feel for it anyway so they shouldn't influence the scoring.

That's correct, videos will be ignored. If youtube is used I'll likely download the songs and listen to them as mp3's instead of online anyway.

I can't think of any genres I don't like or can't at least appreciate, except perhaps some obscure types of metal. Regardless, I'm trying to judge this not really on whether I personally like the songs (except for the two bonus prizes) but rather on how well you fit the theme you picked.

As for them all being hard to listen to.... you vastly underestimate how often I have headphones in.
