The first two ideas have been talked about briefly by a few members of staff but nothing more than that right now, the second idea isn't mine, and the third one is me just throwing an idea out there. 1. Implement Magatia, minus Maker (which I don't think we need and which I suspect might be quite complex and lengthy to code). IMO, quite a lot of the magatia maps are good for ranged jobs without being OP. Obviously, it would be nice to have the Romeo and Juliet PQ too, for people in early 3rd job, but yes, getting that working might be tricky and time consuming. 2. Increase the spawn rate of monsters in Ludi Dungeon, which would help revive and repopularize these under-used maps. 3. Do something to improve the Forest of Dead Trees maps as a training ground. I have two possible suggestions here: replace the current Forest of Dead Trees maps with those from an older version, where the maps were flat and monsters didn't spawn on platforms; or simply increase the spawn/spawn-rate of zombies. I don't know about anybody else, but I find both Ludi Dungeon and Zombies very nostalgic and I remember the days when everyone used to train there. Improving Zombies as a training area would also bring Dead Mine Scrolls back into play a lot more.

I personally move around a lot when I'm training, because I get bored if I stay in one place too long. I already used these spots before the event and the changes.
I second Magatia. That would be awesome! Yay for more quests, and more interesting places to train. Magatia has a lot of really nice mobby maps
Magatia = more maple karistans and amazing 3x-5x maps. ALSO SAND RATS AND SCORPIONS <3 Also, something I noticed when I first joined Royals is that iron hogs are all over pig beach, turning it into a horrible map. (Don't know if anything can be done about that)
The last few times I went to Pig Beach, there was only the one Iron Hog there, like there's supposed to be, but like you, I remember there being a lot of them when I started Royals.
Probably by hackers, in the case of Demethos! The Iron Hog's a pain, but very much a part of Maple nostalgia, and at least here, you can use a freebie Smega to ask someone to come kill it for you, or hit the trade button and see if anyone around the FM is willing to help.
Inb4 someone says the same thing about King Crow at Himes. The number of times I've heard people suggest asking a GM to kill it....
I killed Crow a few times right after the wipe because there was no one high leveled enough to kill it in the player base. I felt like that was fair considering the wipe...where on "retail" versions of the game, that map wasn't introduced until there were hundreds or thousands of players capable of killing Crow. But now it would be silly to expect a GM to do so, when there are people who can kill it easily. And as far as the Iron Hog thing goes...on GMS there was always a good samaritan 5Xer who would come in and kill the iron hogs regularly. And when there wasn't someone killing the hog...you'd just avoid hitting it. It roams all over the map, so avoiding it is fairly easy.
Does anyone else think Kents need a boost? The maps and spawn are pretty horrible to grind with in Royals, but back in eMS, I remember it was a good Warrior grinding spot, but maybe that is because of the missing mini dungeons?
