I just installed the game, but cannot figure out if it is possible to play at a higher resolution? I can't find any settings regarding this. Am I really supposed to play in this tiny window, or in really grainy full screen? Apologies if this is a dumb question, but I cannot find the answer
No you cannot. Although it may not be a higher resolution you can stretch the window with this program: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/how...ode-to-a-larger-resolution.51318/#post-281038 Keep in mind when you stretch that the picture quality will suffer unless you are able to stretch to 1600x1200 (which you can't on 1080p).
Okay, thank you. Was the original Maplestory also in such low quality? I don't remember it being grainy, but maybe it was : )
Yes. 800x600 was the original resolution of the game. Keep in mind the game was first released in Korea 2003 and higher resolutions than 1024x768 was rare!
Sorry to bring this up again, was browsing through for answers, but is it illegal to force 1920 x 1080 in MapleRoyals?
How would you do that? None of the UI elements in the game would support such a high resolution and the game would look terrible.
