I realised this bug when i've just advanced to 3th job. Element Amplification now Lv.13( use 165%MP, 118% Magic ATT), the problem is when I cast Thunder Bolt( 40MP basic cast), the MP is required to consume must be 40 x 165% = 66 MP. However, it still costs 40MP. Then i think that Element Amplification is bugged though this is the very important skill. I also check the damage, but seems not increase. I'm confused in way i chose I/L.

It works. Damage still takes in consideration Element Amplification unless they changed it very recently.

So I hit 40 on my I/L and was wondering where to train? I have been at Teddys since level 30 or so and was wondering if I should stay there or go somewhere else? Im still currently using the gear you get from the start because I cannot afford anything that increases INT yet

At this point, you should have max Thunderbolt. Try Wraiths in the Kerning City Subway.

We talking about Jr.Wraiths or the actual Wraiths? And will I be able to hit them without missing? Also how long should I stay there for?

The big ghost ones. You should be able to hit them fine. You might miss a bit, but the spawn makes them prime training. Stay there until around 45-50 where you can move onto Ghost Ship 2.

Don't know if anyone has said this, but you should update the training spot from 30-40 since cpq is not available; I trained at teddies and it worked out really well. Nice guide, by the way. I've used this since I started my mage and I'm now level 95!

Is the recommended equipment still up to date? Iv recently hit 70 and stull using level 1-8 gear except for my staff. I have recently made some money and was wondering what to purchase? I cant do Zak Helm because I haven't done prequest for the run, so what equipment do you recommend for me? Currently level 70 I/L

Pretty sure Petri/Ulu 2 is the best place to go. But if you want I can train with you there (you can BL: Sonar).

Hey just a small comment, the above formula included to calculate damage is missing an opening bracket somewhere. Otherwise, great guide and appreciate all the effort put into it!
