Earlier today, I played Mapleroyals with a clean v62 files which I already have and I realised the server have custom wz files. I went ahead and download and when I tried to replace the custom .wz and then run the client, it discounted after a black screen showed up for a second. A pop up saying I do not have the necessary files needed to run the game. I have all the 4 custom .wz inside my v62 folder. I also tried dragging the custom .wz one by one and testing them out but the first try failed already, which the same pop up. One weird thing I realised was, when i tried to replace, there is no loading window popping up like it always did. It instantly replaced, not sure if there is the problem. I tried downloading the set up off the website but download failed for 3times. Thanks in advance!
There are more than just 4 custom .WZ files, as well as a custom client. If you're having problems downloading the complete, custom set-up, maybe there are some people out there willing to upload their (compressed) MapleRoyals folder for you to a different website, so that you can download it, nonetheless (hopefully). I'm afraid I can't upload it, since I'm not at home at the moment, nor is my connection particularly good. Using a different browser can also help. I personally experienced some trouble when downloading it with Google Chrome and Firefox, but Internet Explorer worked fine.
I'm downloading off the thread in the notice forum and there are only four of them. All the .wz files I downloaded is of their full size. What I am having trouble now is when I replaced the custom .wz files and then run the client, it says I have missing files in general. No specific .wz file is named. I'll try to download the full set up with IE. Thanks
Those are only the NEW files that were missing in the previously outdated set-up (they're now included in the set-up). I'm 99.9% certain all files are slightly different compared to the normal, clean v62 MapleStory files. I hope downloading the set-up with IE will work.
I have the set up downloaded. But when I run it, it showed "Error reading setup initialization file".. Help please.. Thanks in advance!
Disable any firewall and anti-virus software, and whitelist the setup and later the MapleRoyals folder after finishing the installation. The files are showing up as false positive trojans, so it's likely your anti-virus is corrupting the file without telling you.
