So the quest "Shumi's Lost coin " seems to not be working. I'm quite the JQ fan and after completing the quest, I was all happy and dandy about my 6k exp and fame rewards. Sadly, you can't complete the quest for unknown reasons. Whenever you try to press OK to get the rewards, it just closes down and you get nothing. Sad day ! EDIT: I'm a warrior if that's any help! I'm guessing it's a class-related bug then. EDIT2: Tried it with a pirate, didn't work this time either. EDIT3: Tried it a third time as a magician, didn't work. Quest is indubitably bugged.
I find that quiet odd, considering I've recently completed all three of Shumi's money quests within the last week without any problems whatsoever. I know that it isn't much help to you, but it might help Matt/who ever else codes that this bug/glitch isn't happening to everyone.
I've completed them on both my Bandit and Cleric, and I know that some quests that's not working properly have been class specific bugs, meaning they work for certain classes but not others. If you inlcude what class you are I'll add it to the sticky.
To support this post, this situation also affected me. I tried completing the quest TODAY but I could not complete the quest and receive the reward.
Hello I also cannot finish this quest. I have the coin in my inventory and have tried to turn in the quest many times however with no success. My class is beginner.
Have you tried talking to Shumi using NPC chat rather than clicking on her? Sometimes repeatedly spamming NPC chat can work when turning quests in.
Oh hey that worked. Spamming the NPC chat command shortcut on the keyboard near Shumi was able to turn in the quest.
Friend and I did this quest last night (I'm a rogue, he's a swordsman) and neither of us are able to complete it. NPC chat button also not working.
How many times did you spam the NPC with the NPC chat button? If you can't get it to work that way, sometimes cc-ing and trying again helps.
