    This is false. Beginners do not need BOTH strength and dexterity to be successful, even if they do not have funding. I have made many beginners, two on this server, two on another 4x EXP server and one on a 1x exp server that have started off to be main characters which can fund jobbed characters and become successful. I will not go into so much detail into beginners, but being able to save on transport, free teleportation, very minimal amount of loss on death and the lack of expenditure of mana potions (usually twice as expensive as HP potions) allow you to accumulate funding that other jobbed characters do not have.

    Chok is talking about Islanders, specifically. Islanders can 1hko all monsters on Maple Island far more quickly if they bring up the lower end of their damage range with dex.

    You have me at a loss, I'm afraid: it seems to me that if a beginner amasses a considerable amount of money, as per your latter statement, it is vacuously true that this beginner has some manner of funds.

    That is to say, I do not understand how our two messages contradict each other, save for your very first sentence.

    Edit: I was not, in fact, hence the bit about beginners not restricting themselves to low level monsters.
