Can you guys please tell me which characters can go solo zak? I know that its possible and I guess fast if you're playing hero. what about other classes?
Hero isn't too fast compared to the ranged attackers because you need to jump attack the top right arm (which takes forever) but NL/Sair/BM are probably the best of you have a bishop with you for mob control. For pure solo I'm not sure, as the mobs get out of control for the ranged classes.
Personally I think heroes are nice since they can also tank the body and avoid all the locks+stuns which are very frequest now (and holy shield no longer protects against stuns). I plan on soloing zakum sometime with my hero, but I will be bringing my bm as SE and will be using that character to kill the top arm so I might have it a bit easier. I know NLs will do well too, but they will need to have an SE mule if they want to have a decent run. That's 3 characters you would want to have (nl, bm, bish) whereas a hero could still do it with just 2 characters imo (hero+bish should be enough as heroes can still hit top arm) Sairs I heard take too much dmg and have to spend a lot of time dismounting and such to be very efficient at soloing.
Im a BM and usually solo zakum but i bring my bishop for mob control. The time i need to take down zakum in solo is more than 2 hours but with my bishop it decrease to 1h 20mins (without apples)
You can solo zak on any char as long as your range is high enough or you want to stay inside for a long time
I'm surprised Jeen, I thought you would tell us that you prefered to use the GM class to solo bosses ! But heroes work as well I suppose ^ - ^
