im lvling a bandit and i have notice that they are not quite popular neither the pirates why is so and what other classes are weak/useless im still leveling the bandit though
Unpopular classes atm are probably Paladins, Marksmen, and Shadowers. I see a bit of Corsairs and Buccaneers, so I wouldn't exactly say they're unpopular. There are couple underlying problems that Paladins, Marksmen, and Shadowers have, but that doesn't stop players from making/training them. Personally, I have no qualms in having Palis, MMs and Shads in my party when I boss. Come to think of it, I had a Marksman in the last Zak party I ran with.
Weakest most useless class is prob pally, even marksman have se and tbat makes them useful, pally has low dps and no party buffs
I would say F/P. All F/P is good at is leveling. They can't boss and having them in a party is pretty less than stellar compared to every other class. That being said, the class is fun as hell.
Paladin by a long shot. They are inferior in terms or training compared to a class like hero. Their bossing is no where close to be even equal with heroes. Overall they are complete trash. Archmages are also pretty bad. Marksman are just a nerfed bowmaster.
I disagree. • paladins may be the weakest out of the 3 warrior classes, but definitely not "complete trash". one shouldn't just compare a class in terms of damage. paladin is one of the most stand-out classes in my opinion, keeping in mind the fact that whoever chooses this path, it's because of it's uniqueness, overall fun and having enough personality to think outside of the box. damage-wise: not the best. possibly as strong as an unfunded bowman would be defense-wise: beast fun-wise: amazing note: it's the only warrior class to have elemental attributes that come in handy at certain levels. • arch mages are incredible too on their own. just because a class doesn't have an effective buff to offer, it doesn't make it useless. plus, correct me if I'm wrong but I recall that an arch mage could do more damage than a bishop overall (regardless of elemental weaknesses or not). • and I venture to say that "nerfed bowmasters" have way more potential than bowmasters themselves, overall. even more once the new source comes out. not everything about this game is bossing, nor having the best DPS in-game, which actually misses the point of playing this server (imo). as for the thread itself, I honestly don't think there are "useless" or "weak" classes at all. just alternative builds.
_I just want to pointed out that Paladin have no advantage in "defense" over Hero, they shared the same Skills (achilles, guardian, shield mastery ... ) and the HP per level stats is also equal. _Not until big bang (maybe sooner) that Hero and Paladin has noticeable distinction like Hero will no longer have "Guardian" skill and Paladin will get "Divine shield" and "Combat order" ...
bucc is nowhere close to useless nor weak. they have a lot of attack range and a party buff to share (speed infusion). the dark sides of it are the bugged skills though.
They are probably the second weakest attacking class in the game o.o. Is si useful? Yes. Does it make up for the lack of damage, like se does for marksman? No, not even close.
I'd argue that f/p is better than i/l. Both archmages are superior overall compared to paladins and buccs in my opinion.
Marksman Paladin Marksman is just not as good as bowmaster overall. Paladin is the same as hero just weaker.
