Alright so I have been trying to download Royals on a Toshiba Satellite laptop recently and I have clicked the windows download and proceeded to do that, I have turned off my firewall to let the game bypass it and when it finally finishes downloading the only thing added to my computer is "Problem with shortcut" it says in the dialog box "The item "MapleRoyals.exe" has been changed or moved so it won't work properly. Please help? This "Problem With Shortcut" box comes up when I click the icon on my desktop labeled "MapleRoyals".
Depends what antivirus you use, you can simply make an exception for the folder, but if it deletes it before you get the chance you would need to disable it first. You can google for details for your antivirus.
Alright....so I finally got the game to download and I was about to login, (was making my character) and then suddenly I get disconnected and the game went back to "Problem with shortcut"....did my antivirus completely get rid of the game? I had turned on my antivirus/firewall after the game downloaded(assumed it didn't have to continue to be off)
I can re-download the game, (while having my antivirus and firewall turned off) and open the game and play but as soon as my antivirus and firewall turn back on it kills the game. Any solution for this? Any help is apprieciated
not everyone is a computer buff, I don't know how to make an exception in an antivirus program...I am running McAfee/windows defender. very difficult to download this game
