Event 2x Exp/Drop Weekend

Thanks Matt for taking the time to translate the timings to our relevant zones for us. ^^
It saved me a lot of trouble, looking up the time... hahaa... U r great! ^^

 

Man. Im actually kind of suprised by some of the negative reaction in here. Some people are just never fricken happy about anything. If you dont wanna take part in the event then dont. And i dont wanna hear about 8x not being nostalgic. I played back long before big bang and we had 2x events that stacked up to 8x quite a bit after long patches, sever checks or just planned events. Outside of the top 5 or so 200s acrossed all of GMS there wasnt a single 200 after who didnt benefit from a few 8x events.

2x event + 2x card + 2x family buff= 8x. And those events went on for much longer durations than we have this weekend.

 

I do appreciate everything Matt does for us and all the gms. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be enjoying this game on a daily basis. I'm sorry if my comments earlier were negative at all. Matt didn't need to do this event at all. Problems happen and issues are made that no one can prevent them from happening. But he did take the time to plan this event to show us how much he cares about the community he has created and that I'm happy to be apart of. Thank you for making this game enjoyable and for letting me relive my memories from my childhood. and as always HAPPY MAPLING <3!~

 

Can I ask a question ? If the boss spawns before the event but is downed during the event period, Does it still give 2x exp ?

Does the drop rate affects gacha ?

 

I'm not very into MapleStory's source code but it wouldn't be possible to make it an instance of a Skill object? The skill timers seems to work properly. ^^

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't even get four 2x coupons if it was possible since I'm guessing they only have multiple time slots so more people get to benefit from it.

Good event too bad I work throughout the whole thing.

 

Guess I was lucky enuf to be able to make it for 3 out of the 4 timeslots for the event Really enjoyed myself! Thanks for the effort ^^
