Can't use AP resets.

I made a swordman (Level 15 right now), and I threw about 17 base INT (With 8 additional with equips)
For some reason, whenever I try and AP reset, I take the point out of MP, and put it into STR, it accepts it, but my stats do not change, and then I am unable to go into portals, and I have to change channels.

I have no idea why this is happening.
Any advice would be very appreciated.

So, all I need to do is hit level 30?

 

Continue leveling with int to gain MP until you no longer hit minimum MP and can wash again, essentially. That could be level 30, it could be lower than that, since most guides don't specify what the formula is for 1st job warriors.

 

But the fact that it lets me use the AP reset with minimum MP is a bug all in its own, isn't it?

 

No. AP resets can remove from more stats than just MP.

And it's not technically letting you use it on your minimum MP, because your stats aren't changing.
