We're currently working on a lot of stuff at the moment, but we have received feedback that some, if not all of the PQs are bugged. After a discussion- we've decided to open threads for each of the PQs so that anyone who discovers a bug can let us know here. Please only write on the appropriate thread corresponding to the PQ whose bugs you are reporting. Just a note here: We've seperated it out because it would be too messy if we combined all into 1 atm. We will eventually merge the threads and update our progress with regards to fixing once no further bugs are found. The sooner you guys report all found bugs to us, the sooner we will be able to start work on fixing them The staff will update this periodically from time to time. This is for GPQ- or Guild Party Quest bug reports only Reminder: Please be descriptive when you inform us of the bug! Thank you for helping us help you! Reported Bugs: 1) Gargoyles (Specifically Mob ID: 9300033) at Sharenian: Waterway maze (Map ID: 990000630) do not spawn where 8 of them are supposed to after killing the Gargoyle in the middle. They are meant to drop 8 Marks of Evil which are needed for GPQ to proceed. 2)Devil Slime (Mob ID: 9300027) at Sharenian Waterway maze (Map ID: 990000640) do not drop Mark of Evil 100% of the time- when they are supposed to. There are supposed to be 30 Devil Slime, each dropping 1 Mark of Evil which are needed for GPQ to proceed. 3) Guild Points do not register- if you earned 500 points initially (Like Synergy did)- and 15 points the second time to try to do it- the 15 points will "save over" the 500. 4) Protector Rock (Item ID: 1032033) are supposed to be taken away after GPQ ends, along with the Food/Wine/Medal/Scroll etc gained
No it's the gargoyles which don't spawn, but Kev fixed it, I don't know if the fix has been implemented though, because it wasn't in the server check report. Also Guild points don't register, or there is some kind of glitch where they over-ride each other, I know if Kev was working on it, but i'm not sure if it was ever fixed.
New: 1) Slimes at the beginner place don't drop their ETC 100% of the time. So you are left with not enough of them. 2) You can keep Wine/Medals/Food/Scrolls and Protector Earrings after leaving the PQ.
Edit: GP doesn't get recorded. We completed GPQ and got 500 points in channel 1. We cc'd to channel 2, Completed Stage 1 of GPQ which gave us 15 points. We then left GPQ and we had only 15 points. So basically it didn't record. 15 points were also shown when we were inside the 2nd GPQ after completing stage one via the guild page. So us leaving was not the problem.
I don't know if you changed GPQ with the .wz edits, but this is the first run i've done since the edits and it has become even more buggy. 1) the 3rd stage doesn't recognise some of the medals/food/scrolls/wine 2) Sharen spawns with the boots, pants, top and hat, but the gate doesn't open. BUT the medals/food/scrolls/wine that didn't work, did get removed when you leave the PQ.
Fixed next SC. Gargoyle problem fixed Devil slime problem fixed Protector rock problem fixed Sorry for the delay, I'm back.
Protector rocks remain equipped when leaving GPQ. You can't unequip them normally and trying to drop them causes you to DC. Please note, this is on the test server - it might not be the case on the live server, but I'd like to know for sure.
What do you do to unequip them (without dc-ing) on the live server? Also, if they're just in your inventory rather than equipped when you leave GPQ, they are removed on the test server.
I don't understand the question. You can un-equip them regularly after the GPQ on the live server. Don't you die if they are in your inventory when you leave GPQ?, because you need the earrings to survive.
That is if you complete GPQ successfully, right? Obviously, being just one person, I needed to exit GPQ a few maps in, which might explain why things were different for me.
We were attempting to GQ today. - Earrings were not disappearing after GQ. But if we tried to wear the same earrings again, they'd then vanish and kill us when the first room was entered. Dropping the earrings from either equips or inventory (unequipping was fine) would cause a DC. - The lasers in the JQ's were causing people to sometimes DC when hit. In the end we had to give up :-(
Confirmed Earrings still do not disappear upon exiting GPQ, despite text in chat saying the item was removed. Double clicking on them in equip window does nothing. No d/c, but does not unequip either. had to re-equip regular earrings to take them off. Haven't tried "dropping" the protector rock, will try so tomorrow when I log back in. Also, party leader issue It wouldn't recognize the leader of the party, even after we passed lead around. We first passed it to the guild Master, then to who was the first person to enter the PQ (me). It ended up accepting Mudkips as party leader for some reason and allowed us to continue with the first stage. (We didn't get past it yet because of lack of sleep)
Last time I checked, the stage after the statues dc'ed you with invalid pointer error. (I recently opened a thread).
Confirming what Sila said. Earrings aren't removed upon exiting the PQ. Double-clicking them to unequip them puts the "You have lost an item (Protector Rock)" message in chat, but the sprite isn't removed from the equip menu. Trying to drop them at this point by dragging the sprite causes a D/C. Changing channels or relogging will make the sprite disappear as it should. Guild Points still do not stick. We completed one GPQ and got the correct amount of GP. Then we started a second GPQ, and as soon as we gained more GP (upon completion of stage 1), the points dropped back to what they were before the first GPQ plus the 15 from stage 1. This video shows what I'm describing. If you turn the volume up, you can hear us doing stage 1. After completing a GPQ, the GP in the Guild Info window will drop back to what it was before the GPQ, even though the Guild Rank Board maintains the score (until the glitch shown above occurs). Spoiler: GP difference
If you try to re-use the same earrings for two PQs in a row, you die for "not having earrings". D/c upon dropping still happens too, but figured I'd post about the dying part.
