Hello there everyone. I don't know how they do it but Maplestory is dragging me back in yet again. Though I've tried the actual servers and quite a few things put me off it. Mainly their P2W scheme being even worse than I remember it being. So I thought I'd take the nostalgic route and try out an older server that I can enjoy. As you can probably tell, I'm a huge fan of Final Fantasy 6 and the character Terra. So much so it's been my alias for years now. I'm currently downloading the client (even if I have to disable a ton of things to make it work) and will probably be on in about half an hour. Hope to see you in game!

Welcome to MapleRoyals! If you want to add me (on my legit accounts, that is), add Linyah. Also, most virus scanners detect MapleRoyals as malware... Turn it off until the installation is finished and then add the MapleRoyals folder to your virus scanner's exception list, that should do the trick. If you're still having problems... Well, that's what the Tech support forum section is for!
I opened up a thread about my problem. It's not the launcher itself that is the problem, it's the installer.

Welcome to MapleRoyals, the only good private server for MapleStory. You should join the guild Lubs when it's back alive and kicking. I liked FF6 as well, but FF5 and FFT will still always be my favorites.
I think my top 5 main FF games were 6, 9, 7, 10 and 5 (in descending order.) Though I seem to be a bit indecisive with adding people as it feels weird just randomly adding people and butting in with their group and as much as people would probably want to help, I'd just reject most of it. So to make myself feel less awkward, anyone who wants to add me, my IGN is Terraa (I really wanted Terra yet it was taken and I was already fed up with the amount of things I had to do to get the server to work. Also it sounds like I'm saying it longer.)
