Can't launch the client on my Mac (OS El Capitan) and I feel like I've basically tried everything on the forums in relation to this problem. Things I've done so far that hasn't worked for me: 1. Unzip client and launch it. (Wineskin window just pops up for me) > Yes, I renamed MapleRoyals.exe to ClassicMS.exe and dragged it into my drive_c file. 2. Updated the Wineskin engine + wrapper to the latest update. (The window still pops up for me anyways?) 3. I've rebooted my Mac (command + R) and typed in "csrutil disable" in the terminal window. 4. Restarted my Mac AND re-downloaded the client. 5. I also downloaded xQuartz (and do not have Razer Synapse). *Note: Currently, Wineskin just opens up for me whenever I try to launch the client and this is after I re-downloaded. Prior to this, I was actually able to launch the client and had the little black window until I got a pop up that told me that I was missing a few files(?). I attached a few popular Mac tech issue threads below that I referenced when I was looking up solutions.... (https://royals.ms/forum/threads/mapleroyal-on-el-capitan.39499/ https://royals.ms/forum/threads/tot-ulu-update-wineskin.11212/) Someone please tell me if I'm missing something here? I'm also not a tech sauvy sav P.S. all the mesos for u
Why would you rename the MapleRoyals.exe? Not sure why you would drag it around either. If it says you are missing files then you are missing files, are you using any antivirus programs?
https://royals.ms/forum/threads/mapleroyals-mac-client.273/#post-1219 < is where I got the advice to rename the .exe.... no I am not missing any files because everything is up to date (I manually updated the files that required it) AND no, my firewall is off/I am not using any antivirus programs.
Then I suggest you download the entire setup and see if you have the same problem. That thread is over 3 years old and not accurate anymore.
I actually fixed the problem by using this thread on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonIns...rgence_stopped_working_on_your_mac_heres_the/) but thanks for your help
