Does the server have any plans on adding custom end-game?

If PB were to be released I would like it to be a challenge too; Players who spent bills and hours on their characters can have a challenge for all their efforts. Pink bean could be a great boss for this I feel, you could add a Hall of Fame or npc with best PB times making it even more interesting in it's own way.

 

I don't want Pink Bean to be nerfed in any way, never got the chance to do it in EMS so it would be fun to do the real thing, but I am biased since I washed my character for Pink Bean when I started on the server.

 

But wouldn't a fully functional horntail also be impossible to kill without HP washing for a night lord or an archer?

 

I think that being able to tank like 4hits before youre dead makes it a lot easier, it would be cool if you actually risked dying if u didnt pay atention.

I have personaly never done pb before so i only know what people have told me about it and from what ive seen on youtube and what not. And i think you could still survive pinkbean without having enough hp, even without wheel of fortune (not sure)

With HB it shouldn't be a problem, unless you tank legs or maybe working sed killing you?

The current bosses are very easy and like mentioned if you can tank several hits from the boss it won't be a challenge, I don't see anything wrong with some content needing HP washing, at least not when it comes to a boss that will take the entire server to kill, that's a lot more interesting, especially since HP washing requires effort not $$$.

 

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but if I recall correctly Pink Bean has bullshit Damage Reflect which is fully capable of murdering anyone regardless of HP. Just food for thought.

I think it has a cooldown, so you have to time it.

 

afaik you don't instantly die due to damage reflect. You usually have time to react to it. You just have to pay very close attention to it.

 

Not too big of an issue. As long as you hide behind the Solomon and make sure to kill Solomon/Hugin first before moving to ''Rex The Wise'' it wont be able to Spell Reflect during the third phase.

I don't think Pink Been should be nerfed. If I recall, Scania and Windia were really close in taking down PB, pre potential. We also have better equips than GMS during that time period.

There was mentioning of Ninja Castle and stuff like that too? We should pay more attention to that since we have PB confirmed. Does this game have Ellina Forest? That might be a good lower-level addition as well.

 

So if we are getting pink bean..does that mean reverse equips will be released along with it 0o

 

Releasing DB/KOC/Resistance is still the best thing. They all falls under pre-bigbang category.

New classes aren't going to be added unfortunately. So the only content that'll be added will be new maps/bosses. But I doubt anything will really happen any time soon.

 

That's a shame.

I really doubt people don't get nostalgic when playing Arans, considering Pirates were added basically a year before. Arans was a nice refresher to the game, but at the same time wasn't an overbearing or overpowered class. Would be nice to see the wolf-warrior in game.

I still don't recall PB ever being confirmed. Unless what Matt said in this thread was a confirmation.

 

I'm new here, so I guess this is to be taken with a grain of salt, but it seems to me that the end game is pretty stale. There's bossing, grinding, and improving your gear to help with the other two things you can do. That's kind of the nature of maplestory though. Destiny had a custom quest line, although it was just a collect-a-thon for a good end game ring. I think it'd be interesting to see something more at the end of the game, something that would take time to complete and is more than just collecting items.

Wouldn't be a problem if they were to drop, to actually get a weapon affected by the godly system from Pink Bean won't be very high.

They have been discussed quite a lot before, and those areas are great, wouldn't surprise me much if we got to see some of that content in the future.
We don't have Ellin Forest, I do like the area so would be fun to see it here.
