Hi, just a quick note, this suggestion is not a necessity and is only for a nice convenience if somehow implemented. I'm sure majority of the players has an FM merchant and does buying/selling with their stores. I was wondering if it was possible to have a toggle/notice option for merchandising. Here is my suggestion/option. (Notice) item was sold for $$$$ to blah blah at 00:00:00 time This was be a special notice for the individual merchant, not for the whole game. Command option -store (It would show the time the FM store set up, what's in ur store, and what's been sold at what time and Mesos $$) Why have this notice/command option? Saves GM/player time for finding lost item/Mesos since there would be a log for players to see at any time if the items are still in their stores or not and for finding missing Mesos if sold. This suggestion would not solve why items are missing, but it lets players know earlier/ahead of time if there is anything lost. Also, another plus is they can see their stores without having to go to FM, so less lag in FM? The only negative I can see for now is that the chatbox could be spammed with these notices. If there is already a similar option to this then this thread can be closed. Anyone else is welcome to add on this. P.S. Typing this on phone so my margins might be all off lol
Player commands is not something that will be added, has been said in other threads. In the new source it will tell you how long until the store closes, when you open the store there is a countdown timer starting at 24 hours. I assume it's already working can't remember right now, but in the store there is an option to check who bought what from it. Not sure how it would save the admins any time since there is already merchant logs, and they have to check those with each claim of missing items. If the store is still up then you can go check your store for what has been sold. Never heard anyone complain on lag in FM.
i didn't know you can check the logs already, I should pay more attention . Oh well, at least good to know now
