Changed your link to a youtube embedded video. When I clicked the link I was expecting somebody typing out instructions in notepad but instead I was pleasantly surprised by this. I was also actually in NLC in hide at the time and was wondering why you were jumping around throwing stars by yourself. Makes sense now.
Is there a way to do this with the PS4 Controller for MAC and Windows(haven't watched the video yet, so sorry if this was addressed). Edit: +1 for the nujabes
Nujabes is the music to my soul I don't have a ps4 controller to test it with. I assume it will work since you can use a ps4 controller on a ps3, but I can't tell you for sure
Thanks! Do you have any idea about MAC also? (guessing you wouldn't know because you don't have one).
I've used motioninjoy for a ps3 controller and joytokey for a logitech usb controller. Both are great for playing Royals. For a ps4 controller, some 2 seconds of googling leads me to this: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-DS4-To-XInput-Wrapper This will convert the ps4 controller input to xbox360 controller input, for which there is already support. You'll still need the 360 controller drivers though.
PS4 controllers work on both Windows and MAC natively. You just plug it in with the usb to micro usb cable. I'd presume you would need to bootcamp into windows to use it with motionjoy and maple though.
Seems like I will only be able to play MR with a PS4 controller on bootcamp but not on OSX, which is slightly disappointing. Since I dislike using windows, since it doesn't allow me to scroll using my trackpad.
A quick web search suggests that there are a plethora of tools designed for the express purpose of mapping controller buttons to keyboard and mouse input in Mac OS X. Both Joystick Mapper and ControllerMate seem quite capable.
They look great, but they are both not-free. The first one being 5 dollars and the latter 25 dollars. I guess I'll try to find a torrent.
I honestly don't know. If the software available from the website is available for macs, It should work fine. The only thing I know the will 100% work on a mac is if you download VM Fusion and partition a portion of your HDD to work as a windows OS. You would also need a copy of windows OS to do so.
I can scroll using my trackpad in bootcamp. It's just reversed for some reason. 2 fingers down = scroll down etc. I don't think I had to look for any drivers to install either.
I have windows 7 installed and it doesn't work with all the drivers downloaded :|, however this is only a problem on MR, not on internet explorer. I tried Joystick Mapper with a ps4 controller and it seems to work until suddenly it would bug out and I would end up walking ->>> until I click out of maple and click back in. So i'm going to try the ps4 controller on bootcamp.
ControllerMate seems to work really well. Edit: After six hours and four softwares on both MAC and Bootcamp, and multiple hours of configuring and a HDMI cable, something works for the PS4 Dual Shock 4.
I use the SCP method to get my PS3 controller recognized as a 360 controller and then I use xpadder to map the buttons to keys. Works damn good.
