Hi I'm thinking of making a new character and I currently have a level 143 Bishop who I can use to leech myself, I just don't know where to go? I know to train myself until level 30, but once I reach that, where should I begin to leech myself? Please help! (P.S. I've heard that I should start leeching myself at teddies in Ludi at level 30, is this true? If not, please reply!) Thank you for your time and help!
Teddies or Jr Wraiths. I remember doing that til 53 cause rushing LPQ will drive you insane after a while. 53 is GS1. 58 GS2 75+ Wolf Spiders 85 Ulu1, 90 Ulu2, 103 Skeles (I believe).
In my opinion leveling your character through PQ is better than leeching until 71. Do KPQ, LPQ, and LMPQ/PPQ/OPQ until 71, then GS2/6 until 75. From there WS 75-80 Gobies 80-90 Ulu2 90-105 Petris 105-108 Skeles 108-200 edit: you can also do squids from 92-105, if 1 hit on both squids is slightly faster, but ulu2 drops are much better
I'm going to disagree with the above. Assuming you're making a character with so much base int that you're unable to grind and your bishop doesn't level beyond 143... From levels 10 to 30, you're going to want 36,400 Zombie's Lost Teeth for the Orbis Exchange Quest. This is 182 stacks of 200. Assuming 500k per 100, this will cost you 182m. At higher levels, it takes more and more exchange quests to level, so I would go to Ludibrium: Terrace Hall and leech yourself from levels 25 to 30. I only calculated the cost of getting to level 30 by the Orbis Exchange Quest in case you wanted the fastest method. Assume one hour of leech to hit level 30. From levels 30 to 36, assume two hours of leech at Jr. Wraiths, Kerning City Subway: Line 1 <Area 2>. From levels 36 to 41, assume two hours of leech at Platoon Chronos, Ludibrium: The Path of Time <1>. From levels 41 to 43, assume two hours of leech at Master Chronos, Ludibrium: Lost Time <2>. From levels 43 to 53, assume three hours of leech at Wraiths, Kerning City Subway: Line 1 <Area 4>. From levels 53 to 58, assume two hours of leech at GS1. From levels 58 to 75, assume ten hours of leech at GS2. From levels 75 to 80, assume two hours of leech at WS. Get a pet at this point and set HP autopot with Honsters. From levels 80 to 105, assume 7 hours of leech at gobies. From levels 105 to 108, assume one hour of leech at petris. And once you hit 108, leech yourself at skeles for eternity. All exp per hour data was gathered from my experience leeching my bloodwashed SI/TL mule and the Percent/Hour Thread in combination with Before Big Bang Hidden Street's exp to next level table. (Orbis Exchange Quest was calculated in terms of how much exp was rewarded per quest completion according to Before Big Bang Hidden Street in combination with the exp tabel noted above. In sum, it adds up to 32 hours of leech, 1.355b if all leech and all Zombie's Lost Teeth (36,400, or 182 stacks) is bought, assuming 45m per hour for all areas except gobies (30m per hour) and petris (65m per hour). With all that out of the way, here are my side notes. As a bishop who one hits both petris and skeles, I confirmed that one hit petri leech is faster than one hit skele leech, assuming both with HS. If you buy leech or someday one hit petris as a bishop yourself, go with petris over skeles. I also recommend gobies over the typical ulu suggestions. I tested gobies against ulu 1 and ulu 2, and gobies is slightly better. I know a friend who tested squids (Aqua Road: Dangerous Sea Gorge II). Squids are faster than gobies or ulu maps. However, I don't have exp data on squids, so I assumed the worst case scenario and went with gobies until level 105. I also didn't factor in PQs. This is due to the fact that PQs require the participation of other people, which can be difficult to organize and the fact that I don't have exp data on PQs. Also, for low level leech, meaning everything before WS, you'll want to consider buying leech from low level bishops (below level 130). When I was making my SI mule, I had tons of low level bishops who would leech me wherever I asked, including obscure places like Platoon Chronos, as long as I was willing to pay 45m per hour. But if you really want to leech yourself, it's not that bad as a higher level bishop. In fact, I leeched myself at GS2 with my level 200 bishop. I don't remember the specifics, but I think I gained 10% or so over the course of an hour on my leeching character. If there's anything I can help you with, please let me know!
Actually, you do not need auto pot for Squids as there are safe spots to afk on. Also, it is better exp than ulu, I went there for my hero as they also drop female warrior skirts (which are hard to find). At 92 or 93 (can't remember which atm), it is faster to go to squids until level 105.
The map has Bombing Fish Houses and therefore Gobies, though. I thought Gobies auto aggro all players on the map, so there wouldn't be any safe spots at squids. o-o
I believe Shiyui is referring to the wrong map, the 2nd squids map is the right one to leech in and it does not have any gobies. Im a squid veteran and can confirm this. Also, to leech squids you need to be lvl 92 ,and imo the exp is similar to ulu 2 and the only reason I go back to squids is to avoid wasting time to find a ulu 2 map.
Just logged on to check. XD Hidden Street lied to me, sorry! The map was correct (Aqua Road: Dangerous Sea Gorge II), and there are no Bombing Fish Houses or Gobies here. Will edit my post above! <3
You forgot the part where ten hours of leech at GS2 will cause suicidal tendencies. Ignoring the unlikelihood of finding a GS2 map, leeching at GS2 is the more soul destroying thing I have ever done in MapleRoyals.
Agreed, even leeching my guy from 71-75 at GS2 sucked ass, the exp gain is just too slow to be encouraging. I seriously recommend PQ until 71, I haven't tested which one is faster, but PQing is one of the most "fun" aspects of maple anyway and you should take advantage of it while you're at the level to do so
