Help me decide!

ok im between Fire poison mage and a cleric
i like both classes.
what should i choose??
here are some advantages and disadvantages i wrote

Advatages-cleric
Cheap
get inside parties easily
gets rich due to the leech

Disatvantages-cleric
Weaker compared to other mages
there are alots of clerics out there allready

F/P-Advatages-
Very fun to play alone or in party
strongest mage
alot of DoT (which i like alot)
cool playstyle
low populrity
F/P-Disatvantages-
Expensive
doesnt get into parties compared to clerics

add to the fact that im going Lukless and its my first charcter!
what should i go for then?

 

Both cost the same amount. If you enjoy f/p more why not play it? F/P AMs can sell leech for a reasonable amount too.

 

As an FP mage, levels 1-80 were ABSOLUTE torture. Not to mention finding Meteor 20 and training were boring. Clerics are cheaper in the long run and level much quicker. FP mages, although they are strong, are pretty much pot-burners.

I'd go I/L or Cleric.

What are you smoking... As soon as you get poison F/P mages become the fastest leveling mage, ESPECIALLY when you're comparing them to Clerics/Pre-HS Priests. You must've been doing it wrong.
