    It just looks like that, becasue when he throwing stars he need to move on fast and be able to have the ability to make to the monsters miss him if he stand erect.
    He couldn't make the monsters miss him and get dmg from them.

    If you look closely, it is obviously a pregnant woman facing backwards trying to do the matrix slow-mo backward bend as the bullets (in this case throwing stars) fail to hit her and hence fly past her

    It's very clearly an arm. You can keep saying it looks like a hunchback, but it doesn't.
