That's true, but the spawn time of lyka was 1-2.5 hours which is way shorter than the spawn time that Matt has in his guide Also, since the spawn is so short it's really easy to get the spawn times for every channel. This means you can just spend a minute killing the lyka on each channel and do something else in the meantime
the spawn time of lyka was 5-9 hours, let's not argue about that again lyka's drops and drop rate are definitely OP. but i don't think it's a problem that there's this "op end-game boss that can seduce you in the last map of the game", i think that's really cool. the problem is camping, that makes it not cool (for everyone but the camper). mike already implemented some changes, i like the added spawn time one. i think that would stop campers by itself. but i don't like the reduced drop/drop rate one. if the nerf on the drops (not the spawn time) is too big, that doesn't make lyka worth checking since its exp is shit. if mike's fix stops camping but people still keep coming to check, then it's a good fix. but if lyka just stops being checked altogether, maybe you can go back to the old drop/drop rate and see how that goes. it would be sad for a unique boss like lyka to be completely forgotten. just my unbiased (since i don't even play anymore) but informed opinion (i camped lyka for months). maybe im out of date so if i said something that makes no sense then just fuck this reply
he's right on the spawn time it was around 1 hour and 20 mins too 2 hour 20 mins. but now it seems to be around 6+ hours
dunno exactly when it was changed but i can guarantee you on that spawn rate. Been like that for quite some time now.
o then nerf the shit out of that, how anyone can complain about a nerf to a 2 hr spawn time for lyka is beyond my mind
The intent of the fix was to make it just that - not a place that you can camp for the day for huge profits, but a place that if you feel to check, there could be a good reward, just like basically every other area boss in the game, such as Leviathan, for example, which has a much worse drop rate for NX rewards but is still commonly farmed due to how easy it is to kill and accessible it is. Lyka's NX rate was left purposefully higher than any other area boss due to the fact that is still does Seduce making it more difficult for average players to defeat, as well as the relative remoteness of location. tl;dr: statistically it is still much more profitable than any other area boss in the game, however it is no longer quite as broken as it was before and thus we'll be monitoring the situation to see if it becomes something checked but not camped.

Back in GMS..... there was no such thing as map owner on boss maps.... remove that rule , add npc item 20m for tear. done.
