Last thing you did: Was in FM hanging around (either that or looking for the ever-elusive Manon)
Why do you think you got banned?: Honestly have no idea. Ban message said I was soliciting real world trading, but the closest thing I ever said about real world trading (1 or 2 days ago) was that I had a friend who had an item that was worth a lot. And in addition to that comment, it was worth so many mesos I would only think that the only plausible way to sell it would be illegally since I would assume noone would even have that meso amount in game... (which doesn't equate to soliciting). I was in no way soliciting real world trading. Other than that brief statement I've said that involved the topic of rwt, I've never solicited trading items for real world currency in game.
Ban message when attempting to log in: Soliciting RWT
What GM banned you (optional): TimK

You were attempting to purchase mesos and scrolls from a meso selling website, which is what we've banned you for.
On this website your forum name was the same as your ingame account name, and the skype name you've provided matches your name in your own introduction thread.
    You will not be unbanned.

I admit yes that was my account on another game site that I completely forgot about, however I'd like to point out that I've never done any rwt. I haven't even gotten any messages or anything in response and haven't touched the site since. I completely understand if you feel that you're better off from just permanently banning me in the game, but I've never done rwt, and I thought solicitations were just a 7 day ban on the first offense?

We have never handed out 7 day bans for solicitations no, any attempt at RWT is seen as a serious offense and results in a permanent ban.
    Your case is no different.

You're the final authority here and I completely respect that, but I still have the right to defend myself in this case, and just appeal for a 7 day ban. I believe the act of "doing" and "soliciting" are two completely different things here. As stated in the Game Terms & Conditions, "Transmit any advertisements, solicitations, chain letters, pyramid schemes, investment opportunities or other unsolicited commercial communication (except as otherwise expressly permitted by us); Punishment: 1st offence 7 day ban, 2nd offence - permanent ban" is what I believe I have breached and will agree to a 7 day ban. However I have never done the act of rwt, and believe it's completely unethical to assume since I made a post on another forum about buying mesos (have since took it down) which received no replies and traction, to turn it into me doing something else which I haven't done.

My point here is that I've been banned for soliciting, and the ban length here should be in alignment for soliciting per the Game Terms & Conditions.

Regardless if you never handed out 7 day bans for solicitations, the rules that have been clearly been set before us in the GT&C conflicts with the decision of a permanent ban. Solicitations have been clearly defined as a 7 day ban for first offence. And RWT only refers to the actual act of buying or selling for real world currency.

I believe this quote describes my reply to your appeal the best, where once more I'd like to put an emphasis on that ANY ATTEMPT TO RWT results in a permanent ban.
With that said your request to have your ban time reduced to 7 days has been denied.

Very well then, I was caught for soliciting and I misunderstood the gravity of the offence. May I suggest you implement that quote in your GT&C so it's clearer to those who may do the same in the future?

    Best of luck to you
