The reason why "glitch" is in quotations is because I don't know if this concept of the chalkboard disappearing was intentional or not. (I went into Free Market 1 and came back into the lobby, now the chalkboard message has disappeared on Avet's screen, but not on Aaon's screen.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anyway, I've came across this "glitch" while dual clienting and I disliked the feature because I intended to use a chalkboard stating that I was "AFK" to prevent people from attempting to message me, assuming that I'm ignoring them. By the looks of it, chalkboards are quite useless due to people moving around a lot in-game. Making players unable to see your chalkboard most of the time. I just thought, what if the player wanted to display that they're "AFK" without the use of a card game or display their merchant location without having to spam in the Free Market? (Maybe the potential, excessive use of chalkboards is the reason why it disappears for migrating players?) The fix to the "excessive use of chalkboards" problem could be adding a timer system to your chalkboard. For instance, the chalkboard could display to all players, but after 5 minutes, the chalkboard will disappear. Though, just to make things clear, this issue is pretty minor and isn't life-changing, but: 1) This is just a suggestion 2) It would be a nice feature to have 3) I'm just curious if this feature was intentional or an actual glitch in the game Thanks!
I think when you go in a fm room, there will be a message in chat saying something like "the chalkboard is closed" although it appears on your screen as it's still open. I think it's just because you are not allowed to use them in fm rooms. Maybe an easier "fix" to this "glitch" is to allow chalkboard in fm rooms?
Sorry if I had made things confusing. Just to make things clear, I went in the Free Market room with my alternate character (Avet) while Aaon had the chalkboard. Meaning, if Avet left the Free Market Lobby map in any way (I just chose FM01 as an example), the chalkboard will not be displayed on his screen anymore if he enters the Free Market Lobby map again (the chalkboard will still show on Aaon's screen though, since he is the one who made the chalkboard). As for the chalkboard closing the Free Market rooms, I think there is a reason for that. Just like how Cash Shop is disabled there as well.
