    Hi Staff,

I performed search and did not find a relevant thread.

I have a level 5x Fighter with max Final Attack ("FA"). Now, the premise of FA is that you get an additional hit after the skill performed. This includes both Power Strike AND Slash Blast for Warriors.

I have reason to believe that the FA damage dealt after a Slash Blast attack is glitched.

This is what usually happens: Say for ex. I deal an avg of ~800 dmg per hit to six monsters with Slash Blast. On my final attack (which has an damage bonus of 250%) performed after the Slash Blast, I deal 'normal' (expected) damage to the monster, i.e. ~800 dmg. However, the damage drastically decreases for every monster in the 'mob' that I hit after the first monster. In this scenario, I would hit about ~400 dmg to the second monster, and strangely, I would hit only ~50-80 dmg on the third monster, and practically next to zero damage on every other monster thereafter.

My question is - is this intentional? Or is this glitched? I have spoken to a few other warrior friends and they say that it doesn't seem to happen to them. This is a great hindrance on my training, as I feel that I am unable to fully reap the benefits of Final Attack!

    Thanks,
    Cinnamon

Thanks for posting this detailed report.

Out of curiosity do you have the mastery level maxxed for the type of weapon you are using? And is slash blast and final attack also maxxed?

    Hi Matt,

To answer your questions, yes, I have both mastery (sword) and slash blast maxed out (level 20 each). And you're welcome for the report, it was no problem! I just wanted to be as informative as possible in the hopes that it may resolve the problem ^^.

    Thanks,
    Cinnamon

That's not a bug, that's how FA works for warriors (and hence why FA for warriors is considered bad).

After PS it does 250% damage to one monster very quickly (good for single targets). However after SB it splits the damage unevenly: roughly 167%, 55.6%, 18.5%, 6.17%, 2.06%, and 0.686%, i.e. 2/3 of the damage to the first target and then 1/3 of the previous damage to each subsequent target. Do note that if you hit fewer than 6 enemies then the percentages won't even add up to the full 250% and that FA is one of the few skills that can go below the minimum cap of 1 damage (and hence show as a miss).

*Edit* If your average SB damage is ~800 then your average following FA damage would be ~1026, 342, 114, 38, 13, 4

It should be noted though that it's not so bad for Crusaders since even with FA messing up SB it still charges orbs quickly and so allows for faster Coma useage.

Ah...Now it all makes sense. I was wondering if it was something to that effect, but I just wanted to make sure. Thank you so much for your insight. :)
