What was your first MapleStory private server you've played?

Aside from Royals, I was one of the last logged players in OrignMS. (A server who's owner infamously gave out players personal info such as E-Mails etc.. which lead to the permanent shut down of the server)

Eventually I came to join Royals.. worried about my email information being lost, I created a new E-Mail and joined the Royal community and have been extremely happy with the community and staff as well. (Considering my account still exist after being away for two years is certainly a plus as well)


Also, I apologize if we are not allowed to mention other servers here.. but I think beginnings in experiences in private servers is kinda neat.

Royals by far though is the best. :3

 

I started on NightSoulMS back in 2012, then when they wiped, I moved to PJTB, and then moved here and have been here ever since!

 

Started on ProMs in 2007 or 08, I think my ign there was Doochebag or something, funny to think how I started on a v.55 server to only come back to one again

 

I played one in 2010 but don't remember the name. The next time I played one was in 2011 called ArikuMS it was one of the first post-BB PS's, I eventually became a GM there but about a month later the server shut down.

I played OdinMs back when I was a little maple noob. (Shoutout to those 30min logins) And I believe the next private server I played in was a server called CheeseMs.

 

I was in one of the first private servers, it was called OdinMS. Now I think the majority of servers of nowadays use their sources to create their owns.

 

Ah, that's so cool. ^^ I've always wanted to become a Game Master and help the community, but sadly I never got the opportunity to do so.. But I still helped other players the best I could. Back in OriginMS two of my best friends became GMs, so it was always fun hanging out with them.

I've actually heard of ArikuMS before, haha. Never joined though.. didn't want too much maplestory clients crowding my space on my PC at the time, lol.

 

I started out playing OdinMS as well but gave up after getting to level 3x and continued playing GMS. I believe I got sick of the post-BB hype and decided to move onto SlinkyMS before it shut down. I then a small break from gaming and then returned to play another private server - RydahMS before it got wiped.

I took another 4-6 year break after RydahMS got wiped and somehow found my way to Royals.

 

I first started with BankaiStory, RydahMS, or SydneyMS years ago, though I joined Sydney at its untimely end and was there for the following server from Oliver: FarmerStory. I joined when I was 12/13, so 6-7 years ago. In Bankai I was introduced to the world of rebirthing, free NX and unlimited flash jump. I still keep contact with the first friend I met there! In FMS I eventually became an intern and then a GM which was a wonderful experience but not one I hope to repeat (no offense to GMs, that server's community just had a special place in my heart). I quit private servers when RydahReborn shut down... I think I was 14, maybe 15, and I'm currently 19. I joined this private server mainly because it was the highest on Gtop and it's oldschool, since the highest version I've played is v83... but this community has been wonderful and really surprised me! There's very kind and warm people here.

 

It might have been the early stage of RydahMS, about a month before they changed their version from v55 to v62. After that, I've been jumping from BankaiMS and OdinMS if I remember correctly.

 

Destiny.

I guuuueesssss my first server TECHNICALLY was 'LeafStory' I think. It was v.55, and GMS was around the same version, I just remember being really frustrated with spending HOURS playing and getting only a level or a half level. (I was only like, level 35 at the time, too lol)

I didn't really like it. It was a high rate (I think something like 500x) and managed to get to level 55 in something like 20 minutes and seeing as I've never gotten that high in GMS I had no idea where to train, what items to get, or where the people were so I quit and decided to never join a private server again.

About six months later I managed to convince a friend to try a private server with me because it was actually pretty fun, but we needed to find one with less EXP, and we found.....DestinyMS. I became a part of their community and staff, good times. Ever since Destiny, I never played anything else. I played original Destiny with admin Quasar, Underground Destiny with Quasar, then Relaunched Destiny with admin Shadow until the end. After that I meddled around with a few servers, but now I'm with you's guys.

FinalStory. I was actually a GM on there for a summer. The communtiy was awesome and it was growing rapidly. Unfortunately I wasn't close to Mateo (the owner), in fact he ended things sour, but I still have contact with a few others like Allen. If anybody else played FinalStory before it got shut down by Nexon in 2009, hit me up

 

GMS in 2014. Felt like a private server already.

I started on a server called FinalStory a while back, had a high-leveling rate and rebirth system. The server was a blast because you could have crazy damage output, and kill all the bosses in a couple of hits. Also you could stack different classes' abilities every time you did a rebirth.

 

The first private server that I've joined and the first ever video that I've made on YouTube was on BankaiStory. I was like 10 years old around this time, Good Times. ^-^

 

Odin.

I only remember the horrible login queue and an in-game notice about how if you were lucky enough to scroll a perfect weapon, you'd be lucky enough to not get caught if it wasn't gotten rid of immediately.

But my first top srs pserver was MapleFable or something with Fable in it it was 1/1/1 v83
