Monkey no longer able to wear yellow hat

I noticed that monkeys are no longer able to equip a yellow hat, it gives the following message:

'The pet is unable to wear the equipment.'

This used to be possible in the previous patch, as you can see here:

Is there any reason why this was changed? This hat is now quite useless to me.

 

It's a known bug that we're already working on fixing soon.

 

The pet equip 'cute beggar overall' has become untradeable and undroppable, is this intended?

 

Have you tried changing channels or relogging?

 

Relogging didn't work, but ccing did.

 

Gonna add onto this thread by adding in that Turkeys are unable to wear the Red Hat. Not sure about any other equips but relogging and cc-ing does not fix this.

 

I think you're mixing up 2 different issues here:
Regular NX pets not being able to wear common equipment was fixed by optional files we released a while ago.
Pet equips not being tradeable (or any NX items with a few exceptions) is fixed by changing channels after unequipping the item.
