I've been visiting my family for about a week now and voting everyday. My sister, my brother and friend all live here and play from time to time as well but they've been letting me take the daily vote since they dont really care about the game that much. Im not sure if my brother played from this computer or not, but my question is: Can I play from a computer he or someone else mightve used to play the game before? I'll be back home in a few days but it'd still be nice to play a little. I dont think there would be an issue to sharing a computer but I wanted to ask to be sure. My sister shares her laptop with her friend all the time and it has never been an issue, I'd just rather be safe than sorry c: Oh and by the way, I used to live here so thats why I used to connect from here. I've been living with my dad for about 4-5 months noww. Thanks for reading~
It's completely fine to do so, just make sure they ain't doin anythin tricky to get banned as it would get you caught up with it!
It will totaly fuck up your vote abilities. I've used to play with a friend to on lan partys etc, i've voted from my and he from his home. Some day i wasn't able to vote anymore when my buddy did vote already. He voted at his home and I wasnt able to vote from my home. I think this server somehow connected the ip adress from my friends router to both, mine and his account. Thus i couldn't vote once he did and vice versa.. It took about 6 month until i was able to vote again. Once i was able to vote again i've done it from my mobile phone only. In order to prevent this happening again....
To fix your voting issue you simply need to log your character in from a different computer as your friend's or family member's, then log it out again and vote using a different IP address.
The thing is, we never played from the same computer. It's not important for me anymore because it somehow fixed itself while i took my 6 month break from the game. When i came back i started voting from my mobile phone right away, so I am fine from now on Anyways, thanks for that information. Might could be handy some time.
