Cons aside, this is my favourite generation after GSC/HGSS. I can still remember trying to catch a Ralts in the first route like a decade ago. Secret bases and contests? Hell yeah. So much hype!

I'm excited to see how it works in 3D and what new features it has. However it's a piece of my childhood and seeing it redone makes me a little sad.
Yeah, I understand. By the looks of the box art tho, it seems as though... they are Mega Evolutions? Maybe this is where we'll get the Lati@site's.
So long as the textures aren't quite as atrocious as the originals were... RSE was my favorite generation. Can't wait.

Looking forward to it! What do you think of the new mega evolutions being introduced? So far, Mega Swampert, Sceptile, Sableye, Latios/Latias, and Diancie are confirmed. Mega Ludicolo, Shiftry, Zangoose, Seviper, Salamance, and Metagross are hinted through a poster released awhile back. I know some people hate the idea of mega evolutions at all, but I thought it was a nice addition to XY since you can only have one mega on your main team.
