The Guild Queens does regular Zak runs, they sell the helm for 100m. You don't have to pay until you are finally helmed. Before you can get the helmet, make sure you have completed the first zakum pre-quest and have an Eye of Fire in your inventory (you need one because without one you won't be able to enter the altar where they kill Zakum). As for tips, in order to survive you must have more than 1.8k HP (thats without HB) and it would be good to have a pet with auto HP equipped, bring plenty of pots (suggestion would be to bring 1k melting cheese which should be more than enough). If you play on a computer with Win 7 you have the highest chance of surviving without experiencing a d/c. If you play on a Mac then there will be greater chance that you will d/c or have some other issue arise. That's about all the advice I can give you. Contact a member of Queens in game and they will help you out.
Reasoning: the only person that sold them for a reasonable price was banned, so there is no alternative. I think sk and wings is going to form a zak group in the near future though to remedy the issue.
Goodluck! First of all... when I was in synergy even before I started to host zak runs, they were selling them for 250m. When I took over, I have started to sell them for 200m. 150m is CHEAP for a hat that provide stats ranging from 15-20+ str/dex/luk/int. Also, we're the only guild that does daily Zakums. You can complain all you want about prices, but if you're really that upset about it... Go kill Zakum yourself. We sell Z-helms for 150m (period). If you don't want it, there will always be someone else that will. By the way, when skadi was selling z-helms for 50m, we were still receiving a lot of customers that would buy for 100m because of the quality of our runs. So you can try to "remedy" what you believe is an issue, but we will still remain a well functioned bossing guild. Some tips for players that want to make mesos for z-helms: -Gach at shrine or NLC (use 35-105 tix) and make an easy 150-200m from a white or chaos scroll. -Train/leech and npc items -Merch P.S. there are no more wings or sk.
Well, when lance was doing his Zak runs to sell helmets to people all the money from selling those helmets went to him. Anyone else he asked to help didn't get a cent except maybe a book if it dropped and they needed it. The reason why Queens sells for 150m ea is because the revenue from all the helmets sold is split amongst everyone who took part in attacking Zakum so that each person is compensated for their time spent helping kill Zakum.
Yep. The money splits between all of the attackers (5-6) , so its like 20-30 per helm , way less than skadi's profit.
And seeing as Queens does have a monopoly on zak runs, I'd like to point out that the price is quite reasonable. Mike (and others who organize runs) could very well double the price, and it would still be purchased, but the price is set at 150m because that's what it should be.
