If I were to assign AP into INT to wash my character later on, what level should I start assigning it, to how much? Or should I just try to get some INT equips?
Maybe Im blind but the guide doesn't mention when to stop adding dex past "level+40". At lvl 71 Im around 120 dex with basic equips on(no zakum or anything like that)
If you wanted, you could have base DEX at 150, but overall, including equips, such as a zhelm, you should cap around 150.
I see ! generally speaking what base dex do you suggest stopping at to not have to use a bunch of ap scrolls one day? iirc zhelm gives around 15 to dex? not sure how thief equips look like around 100+ either but currently the ones i find have give or take 5 of dex & luk each
Having over 150 total DEX isn't really a problem, but if you really wanted to cap it, stay around 120 and add DEX as needed once you know what end game equips you will be wearing. I don't have a shadower myself, so don't really know the equips and such, but it should be easy to get around 30 DEX from zhelm, top, bot, cape, and such.
Most people can get thirty dex VERY easily from a z helm, earring, deputy star, etc. That's not even mentioning HTP later game. I'd even go as far as saying that the class that needs a HTP the most in the game is shadowers, they get the benefits of 3 stats, 2 of which can then be reduced and pumped into LUK. Food for thought.
Whats the best place to level for those who don't want to PQ at all? I'm in kind of a lull because all my favourite spots are only ideal for warriors (FoG <3), but as a single target, low HP, melee fighter I need something else. I'm currently level 48 on my bandit.
I'm having the issue of not being able to paste while using mousekeys. Does anyone know if there's any way to fix this? I don't think it's the keyboard because I have the same issue on two different keyboards, one of which I know for a fact has n key rollover. I use Windows 10, maybe that's the issue? I have a workaround where I bound paste to a button on my mouse, which I can hold down while using mousekeys, but it's really inconvenient to do in the middle of a fight. Edit: To those of you who CAN use ctrl-v and mousekeys clicking at the same time on a single keyboard, what keyboard are you using?
This may have been addressed before, but at what point does the Assassinate + Boomerang Step combo out-DPS Meso Explosion? I am wondering if I should start white scrolling a perfect kanzir to be able to eventually move away from having to use ME for everything. Is there a specific range needed to do this?
Well, that is hard to say. This not only depends on your range, but on your meso dropping speed as well. As for the numbers, someone earlier mentioned a 6k range.
A lot of people say I drop pretty fast, but even with this quick dropping speed I only white Zakum 50% of the time. I currently have a 5.2k range with just MW10 and no attack potions. I wonder if getting better shoes and a better cape, along with white scrolling my perfect Kanzir, would put me around a 7k range. I guess I just have to test it since nobody knows for sure it seems.
You should ALWAYS use those ATT potions from NLC. They're cheap, effective, and you have almost no excuse As for your original question. ME has fixed damage, so just try assassinate/boomerang occasional. You'll notice when it supercedes ME in terms of training speed. Whenever I test a new spot (whether it's at a new level/new skills/whatever) I just time myself to see how long it takes to get 10%, it gives you a good base line. I know it's not what you asked but I'm not great with the math.
I appreciate the response. Once I pass MW20 (which seems to have a 10% success rate, not 70%...) I will check out my damage on HH or Zakum.
Depends on how you define weak. Till you get ME (meso explosion) they are by all means, weak as can be. I'm assuming you'd be adding all your luk into dex instead, and you will have a good amount of damage, VERY stable damage, but still weak (or maybe you're insane like me and would go with a blood bandit). The thing is, once you get ME, your damage is all about how much money you drop. You are VERY strong, and will level VERY fast. But, your damage will taper off eventually because your damage is as good as it's going to get with ME. It doesn't scale with stats. It's a neat adventure but, personally, I'd just level normally, and save your money and time for when you get to 70, then you can ME your way to a high level, and then you won't be weak, you'll be strong with all that luk. (As always HP washing can help but not as essential due to mesoguard, but hey, 8k free NX a day)
Thank you very much for your reply!! after almost getting to lvl 50 lukless, i seen how silly it kind of is. the stable dmg was cool but other dits were doing like 5x my dmg LOL And I cant wait for ME! i jsut hit lvl 70! Imma fllyyyyyyy through lvls xD
May be my bad for not fully reading the guide before starting a bandit, but I just read the part about Assassinate disconnecting you at bosses!! How much is this going to affect me? Can I even boss? If I go to bosses (eg. Zakum), what skills should I use then, since Assassinate doesn't work? I spent a grueling 9 hours (4+5 hours straight) at himes yesterday and many more himes-hating hours before that training to a shadower so I'm really hoping my efforts wouldn't go to waste! Advice please, thanks! #worried
