Heyo! As stated in the title, ITS BOOB MONTH! October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I thought it'd be cool if we, as Royallers, decided to express our love for boobs. So what is breast cancer? Simply put, breast cancer is a form of cancer caused by the growth and spread of mutant cells in the tissue of the breast. Both sexes are vulnerable to the disease however it is much more prominent in females than in males. So prominent, in fact, that it is the second leading cause of death in women. Here are some facts I stole from the National Breast Cancer Foundation (http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org/) : 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime On average, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer and 1 woman will die of breast cancer every 13 minutes. Breast cancer claims the lives of over 40,0000 women every year out of the 246,660 that are diagnosed annually The call: All I ask is that you wear pink throughout the month of October and post a pic of yourself in this thread. I'm just a 17 year old kid trying to get through senior year of high school who believes that awareness has no boundaries.
