Guide to Halloween 2016 Quests

• Start at haunted House and talk to Old Man Tom to start "A word to the wise"
  • Accept Quest: A Lost Girl
  • Find Sophilia in her bedroom by going to the left side 2nd floor of Foyer, then upstairs to the right. She'll ask for her first doll which you can obtain from the "Family Jewels" quest.
  • Accept Quest: Old Man Tom's word
    • Go into the Foyer, up the stairs and talk to Edmuns the Butler. Start quest "A cold hearth"
    • Bring Edmuns the Butler 60 firewood, and then start next quest 'Eat This"
      • Collect 20 of each Red, Orange, Green and Purple gummy slimes from monsters inside the mansion
      • Reward is the Omni Key. Use this to talk to Malady* and enter the vault.
        • Every 4 hour uptime Pierre will spawn in the vault every channel. Max 75 people per channel.

• Start quest Special Delivery by finding the Stepmom Ludmilla
  • Go to the Foyer's 2nd floor far right door, then the far left door on the bottom of the Hallway.
    • Ludmilla wants you to get her 5 slices of Cherry Pie from the Grocer in NLC.
    • Turn those back into Ludmilla. Reward is Four heartstoppers.
  • Start quest Family Jewels by talking to Ludmilla. She'll ask you to find her Tarrymore Earrings and Sepha Earrings.
    • Tarrymore Earrings and Sepha earrings are both dropped by Sophilia Dolls. Note: Only the flying ones will drop the earrings.
      • Rewards the Sophilia's First Doll, used for the quest A Lost Girl
    • Start quest The Infernal Toy Machine with Jonas Prendergast in Toy Workshop (Haunted Mansion Hallway "Where Am I?" top left to Library -> Top most door)
      • Asks for 50 firewood, 25 screws, 25 loaded springs
      • Starts next quest "In Her Likeness" and Rewards the New doll for Sophilia.
        • Need to farm 30 Locks of Doll's hair, 10 heartstoppers, 10 maple pops, 10 pumpkin taffies.
          • Turn these in to Jonas Prendergast to receive a "Perfect" Sophilia Doll. Return to Sophilia again in her bedroom.
          • Take the first doll that she gives you and bring it back to her father (Jonas) up in the Toy Workshop
      • Start the next quest with Sophilia called A Father's Love
        • He'll ask you to destroy 50 each of Psycho Jacks, Nightmares and Sophilia Dolls. This opens up three new quests which are literally just kill 50 of each.
        • After you turn in all three of the killing quests, you're given the Toymaker Cap, Cape and Hammer.
        • After talking to him about his daughter and family, he has one more favor of you, and gives you the key to the top of the mansion. Take this back to Old Man Tom outside.
          • Start the quest The Past in the Present and I highly recommend you actually read the story! Talk to him again after you read through it all.

*Malady is found in New Leaf City, Amherst, Kerning, Orbis, Ludibrium, Leafre, El nath, Omega Sector.

Is there a level requirement to the quests?

 

Level 15+ for the quests, though the monsters needed to kill are about level 50

 

Fixed a small issue where it was asking for 10 maple candies, rather than 10 maple pops.

 

I finished everything, but I don't have the quest "The Past in the Present "

I have a question though. Is the Omni Key one time use only for Pierre? So, do we need to farm gummy slimes repeatedly to create new keys or can we use a single key infinitely?

 

Did you go back outside to talk to Tom? He's the one that will start that quest.

 

Yeah, I have no more quests The last reward I ended with was 5 necklace thingies in my USE, but I can't find it right now. It like ... disappeared LOL.

EDIT: jk i found the necklace thingies again. But yeah that's the last quest I have. ....

 

infinite use. I think if repeated farming is required very little people would bother to participate in this event hahaha

 

Sorry didnt see this! It's not one time use only. It doesnt disappear, and you can't repeat the quest on the same character.

What are the Necklace for¡?

 

Not used for anything, just a keepsake. Can use it if you want, it just adds wep/magic defense.

 

What is the Special Delivery quest for? Since the previous quest has already awarded the key.

 

sorry to hijack, anyone having issues exchanging candies? im getting constant dcs whenever i click the option to exchange candies

 

It just completes the whole story really. Plus, it's for quest enthusiasts
