Recently we all were robbed of many of our items especially nx items. I initially thought some of my nx items disappeared but it turns out many peope lost other items such as raccoon mask and donator items. It seems most reasonable hat we get these items back. Thats easier said than done so, I thought of a way to fix this as easy as possible. My resolution is that we roll back to the time just before the balrogs were summoned (or as close to that time as possible) AND give everyone a 2x exp coupon, that lasts a couple hours, to make up for the exp lost due to the rollback. The reason i insist on coupons rather than a 2x exp event is that the coupons allow players to receive 2x exp at the times that work for them best. I also feel the rollback is the best solution because people lost a variety of items not just nx and its unreasonable that players keep track of all the items they have, so they probably lost more tems than they realize. I order to make up for these losses most efficiently a rollback is the best answer. Of course with a 2x exp coupon.

If I'm not mistaken, this event occurred over twelve hours ago. If the server was to be rolled back that far (if they happen to have a backup exactly before the barlog event), people would lose much more than what they currently have lost. Although the refund thing might seem complicated, this solution is a tad better than rolling back the server, especially this late.
You fail to recognize that for most of that 12 hours, the server was offline so players wouldnt have missed out on as much as you insist.
Also how do you think the admins would be able to compensate for the items lost for all the players without a rollback? The servers only been up a couple hours (approximately 3 hours) now since the server was offline a couple minutes after the incident happened.
There will not be a rollback but we will figure out a way to compensate those who have lost NX items and attempt to replace raccoon masks by comparing their claims to a recent backup.
