Info NX Compensation

I appreciate the compensation, and don't want to complain, but 15k won't put a dent in the amount of nx I lost. I had multiple outfits on my main and stored on my alt. :/

 

Same here, across six accounts, I have lost around 100k - 200k nx

 

How will you know exactly whom was effected? I guess you have a list of accounts that you removed NX from. Anywho, I lost about 20k worth of equips so I suppose I'm looking forward to that 15k.

 

I just hope that 15k wouldn't be for every single account on the server at the time of the server

 

That will still be unfair due to the way each individual spends his NX. A user of an 'older account' may still buy Gach coupons (Rather than more outfits) and crediting him more NX would only give him the advantage of being able to buy more Gach coupons.

 

Exactly, I haven't gacha'd since January.
I spent all my NX on clothing and stuff in the CS, which got removed ):

What about people who weren't even logged on and had not logged on since... I've really only checked 2 characters so far, but I'm sure I've lost more than 20k nx in clothes. Since both of them were almost completely "naked", only having event equips left on them.

 

Matt, is it possible to reward people with 15k PER character, rather than just a whole account? that way the people with more characters are compensated. ^.^ just my thought!

 

Yeah, I wasn't online during this occurance and all my accounts were stripped. Most of them weren't even logged on during that day

 

List of suggestions and me ranting cuz I lost full NX sets on 4 Characters.

You could just give 20k NX to people per character.
(But people who didn't lose any NX could just Gacha away, giving them extra advantage over people who are going to use the NX to buy new NX gear)

You could do it as a time based thing, something like, if my account has been in existence since shortly after wipe you could refund me accordingly, it can't be a 100% refund because, people forget to vote, some people quit and start months later.

It would kind of have to be, at this point in time, you're going to have to either give people "the shaft" and under credit them, which no one, no one will like... bad for server tbh, I was ready to rage quit when I saw all my stuff gone...

BUT. I could just vote for another month and get everything back eventually, which would suck because I could just have gacha'd normally if this hadn't happened.

Or you can over credit people. Based on the amount of time their account has been around, and divide that by a number, and just give them that. However you could kind of look at it as a server gift, turn this horrible situation into something good.

Now, here's the really long way. Go through all your records and look at each account individually and how much they have voted, and gift them NX accordingly, Which is still really undercutting people a lot because NX items are tradable.

Some people could have bought over 100k NX, or bought about 10 NX items....

The easiest way would be to do it by how long an account was active. At this point in time if you have to give people 200k in NX to make up for all the 100k+ gear they have missing. Even if it's a little extra... like I said, you might as well treat it as a gift, to your dedicated players who continue to play despite occasional downtime (due to hackers.)

Edit: Donor's who were rewarded with RP, who lost their NX items from Donating are also seriously affected, I think they take top priority, because they actually genuinely gave something.

 

I think the best way to compensate NX is to combine both suggestions:

1) Give NX based on the age of the account.
2) Don't remove NX from those that have not logged in the last 24 hours.

Seems like a fair solution for everyone. I spend a lot of NX on facial expressions and equips (Probably 300K spread across my account), but haven't logged in for 2 days. Everyone who hasn't been on for at least a day, which are a lot of members, will be spared. And those that were online; maybe provide the team with any SS you have of your outfit, as well your inventory? This way they could alter the refund for those who spent tons on equips, which would be fair.

As to Donator Items... They won't be removed, right? If so, a refund is in order, of course.

Edit: Just heard all items already got removed. Then only suggestion 1 and the provision of SS's are of use.

 

As someone who usually just logs on and AFKs in the FM all day....I wasn't affected too badly by the deletion, just a few NX outfits on my account.

Obviously the problem with refunding NX would be that the free market would be overflowing with gach'd items, which I don't particularly find as a problem. It lowers prices across the board and makes new equipment available for people who don't want to personally scroll it. So the NX refund is a double-edged sword.

15k NX refund per account is a sound amount for compensation, in my opinion. It doesn't overload people with NX, but it gives them more than enough to re-equip one character. But almost all of us have at least two characters per account, and if we've put any time into them, they probably had some NX on them. I'm not sure if you can tell how many characters are on each account, but a possible solution would be to give 10k per character on account(15k + 10 each extra or 10k per character)..? I feel that would cover more of the problem(at the expense of a lot of your time) while also keeping the free NX down is it isn't abused at a Gachapon.

Another possibility(though I am sure this will be immediately shot down by all donators, even though I have donated) would be to credit 10rp per account and call it a day since NX Cash is replaceable. That would completely remove the chance of the FM overflowing from gachapon items and people can't really complain about getting one or two restricted items as compensation.

Just ideas to help you guys out. I won't be upset if you end up crediting 15k NX or anything else you do. Thanks for fixing the problem last night quickly.

 

Unfortunately Marty, from my understanding, Donator items are NX items, they're just not in the Cash shop because they've been removed to be exclusively purchased with RP only...

 

it was only nx equips that were removed right? is there anyway to be compensated with maplepoints instead? and at the same time disable the purchase of gach with the compensated maplepoints? that way people will not spend the compensated nx on gach?

 

Donator items are considered Cash Items, yes, but weren't removed from the Cash Shop. They were implemented from later versions. Just a heads-up.

And idk about your NX equips but 1 set = 50k easy.

Couldn't Admin possibly just gift people with NX that can't be spent on Gachapon tickets? So people who did lose 4 sets of NX gear, could get 200k and buy back all their NX gear, and not be able to buy Gacha tickets?
