My job is thief(assassin), I pump up all AP to INT for MP washing(my stats:4/4/25/300+). Is apple enough for me to pass the 3rd job advance? I heard that I need DEX gear for more accuracy to hit the dark lord's clone. Anyone knows how many stats could be enough to pass the 3rd job advance? thanks a lot.
You don't need apples and IMHO will be just a waste of mesos because it's not THAT helpful if you don't have any base damage. Also, get LUK gear rather than DEX gear if you can, LUK gives accuracy as well (and obviously damage). Zhelm scrolled for accuracy Deputy Star DEX gloves DEX shoes LUK cape LUK earrings LUK Bathrobe Maple Leaf (DEX or LUK is fine) Skanda Try to get Echo and SE before entering the fight (MW20 won't be helpful at all since you're pure INT). Use Amorian Baskets (even Sniper Pills might be enough), Red Ciders and All Cures.
When I did it, I had 25 luk as well, a shitty skanda, and a dep star (no other luk/dex items), I got through fine with just Amorian baskets and heartstoppers.

I went in with 4 base luk, a crappy Skanda, and ~30 luk from equips and used around 10 heartstoppers, maybe a few more. The fight is super easy for the first 1/2 as you just have to stand far enough back that he still attacks you but his attacks don't reach. The only real challenge is hitting him when he starts summoning tauros.
