Is it bad that I enjoy going on the ban appeal forum to watch people who are clearly trying to cheat the system and our GM's out of an IP ban? I think it's funny as hell. If anyone has some funny stories like that, please do tell. -Edit- If a GM reads this, is it okay if I link my favourite ban appeals on this thread? Don't want to do that if it'll result in me being penalized
Lol I love to read those. Especially when they're like "I don't know what happend. I was training at chronos a then got banned" then the GM is all like "No you were hacking and using a Mob Vac. Perma Ban" Then they rebutle "That was my brother when I went to the bathroom. It wasn't me" I just sitting there like bro you done got caught just take the L.
While it might be funny at times, I think the fact that ban appeals are public is a really good thing so that everyone can check and make sure that people are treated equally. I don't think that you're a bad person for thinking its funny I know many people who read ban appeals for the same reason as you. Personally I usually don't read ban appeals unless its linked from another thread or if someone tells me to check a specific one. I think that it would be fun to have a thread where people could post some of their favourite ones!
I read them almost daily, but lately its mostly just people that use public vpn's and get banned by it
