Now to help others out, did you do anything special or different from usual to complete the run? And what type of video card do you have on there? Since it's an Air, I assume you just have the Intel graphics card, and no discrete GPU, right?
I can confirm from my own experience using a macbook air as well. In addition to graphical glitches, in almost every zak attempt I experience one huge lag during 2nd or 3rd body, which will last up to 5-10min+. Often I give up, dc, or die, but occasionally I survive.
The only time i was able to do zak successfully on a mac w/o parallels was when i got rewarped. Other than than I was never able to recreate a successful zak run
I play on a 2007 Macbook and it runs on OS X (version 10.7.5). When I went and checked a while back Im pretty sure this is like a 4 year old OS. I get through Zak runs fine with no issues, and recently got through Horntail first try with no issues. I guess not many people have an older Macbook but I think they definitely play Royals better.
