Dear Royallers,

Hi, most of you may know me as Holy Rice/Valor ous (John aka Jaaahn to some of you haha).

6 months ago I decided to join this server to relive my nostalgia/cravings for the old maplestory. I was honestly not expecting a low rate nostalgic private server to do so well (props to the staff). My original plan was to quit after April but I decided stayed because I met a lot of amazing people over the course of playing. As you can tell from the post, i'll be quitting Royals to focus on school and my internship.

To my Guild/Alliance (Valiant/Radiance/Wisdom)

@Masqueradia Hi Monica, it's been a happy 4 months with you! I honestly don't regret any of it and I really do hope we do stay good friends Thank you for reviving the game for me. It's honestly been a huge roller coaster, we had our ups and downs. From first meeting you at Henesys, to helping you pass genesis 30 and maple warrior 20, to our random league sessions, to our random scrolling sessions, to finally be able to boss with you (especially power Leveling your Nightlord at duo Krex and Zakum) and to take you on your first Horntail run (hehe mw20 dropped). I'll sure miss our daily chats but at the end of the day, I do wish nothing but the best for you. ~~

@DzKnight Hey Sof! I know it was shocking for you that I completely quit yesterday and handed you all my equips. I hope you can use my equips to blossom to late game on SupremeKai and maybe help others. I still remember when you went out of your way to leech me at wolf spiders when I was a complete noob. (haha) Thank you for trusting me (lending me those 170 ap resets, haha sorry i promised you exactly 170 ap resets back but i guess 21 ap resets and 1.6b will do for now) and being a really good friend in general. Atleast we got SupremeKai a bigfoot toe, possibly our last bigfoot duos in a while PS. OuO, QAQ

@gtsoldi4r Hey Mike! I enjoyed being there for your random scrolling sessions (was it 7/7 on that dark pirate bottom and 5/5 on that scg? haha) and those random gachapon sessions. I hope you could get that high attack PGC and FS you've been trying to chaos for the longest time. *heres my scrolling luck hopefully it helps* Thanks for joining my last horntail run Let's get subway man!

@Goku Hey Leo! You've been a complete bro to me, and I'm really glad I met you. Thank you for lending me those facestompers . @ayomichelle Hi Michelle (nib)! Thanks for the random chats on royals. You are probably the most relatable person I met on Royals. From complaining about school, and life in general (First world problems LOL). We did have some random and long interesting chats (sorry for spamming the skype group hahaha) I wish you the best of luck in school, on your exchange and your future in general. Also, thank you for taking charge and reviving Wisdom aka Radiance!!

@bibi Hi Bibi! (Charlene, haha i never ended up calling you this). Sorry for being on cool down for that trio zakum a few weeks ago. I wish I had the chance to go Horntail with you and Radiance but I guess it won't be happening anytime soon. Thank you for being the mom of Wisdom/Radiance. Thank you for being really nice to everyone!!

It's been a hell of a rollercoaster ride for me on Royals. Thank you for all the memories everyone. <3 I won't say it's a good bye but maybe a see you soon No promises tho

 

Good luck with life and everything. It's true that nothing lasts forever, but at least you made all the precious memories and can look back to see the enjoyment you had.

 

Demn good riddance I'll see some white now. Because of you I got my first ever toe on kai rofl that almost matched my horrible chaos luck our duo's were definitely unmatched OuO... knowing your luck your return will probably bring new source right @Goku ?

Host a HT run near Christmas and I'll promise to make it either to SE or HS you guys one last time before the year ends

There is so much I want to say that I can't type right now (at school at the moment) but I will update this post. You mean so much to me and it makes me so sad to see you leave. You deserve every second of my time so I will make sure this updated post will be worth waiting for. You are always in my memories dear John. I treasured every second I spent with you from the start to the end.

EDIT:
Everything you've done for me will not be forgotten. I give you all the credit to how far I've come on Royals. How you helped fund my Gen 30s and MW20, how you've lead me to the 1-hit bishop path, how you've calculated all my HP washing, and how you have let me meet all these wonderful people on Royals. You and I made the guild, Valiant, together, which will always be my family because of YOU. You always answered my questions as soon as you could, you were ALWAYS there for me. Whether I had stupid complaints about school or just some emotional outbursts, you still stuck beside me. I don't know anyone else I'm willing to share all that emotion with, other than you. I will always remember the day I met you and all the little things you did to catch my attention. There was a reason why I let no one else but you marry my characters. God, I don't usually type such long lengthy goodbyes but you deserve every fucking bit of recognition I can give you.

In some time, I want to be there for you when you need me in the future, ask me questions you don't know, as I have asked you. I still can't imagine never having you as a part of my life in the days to come; you were the person I talked to day and night. Even if it's different from here on out, I will be there when you need me.

I'm sorry I will always be the selfish one; it's really incredible how selfless you are and how many great people you deserve to meet. I hope you find someone who gives you everything you deserve that I couldn't give back to you. I can't remember ever hearing someone complain about you and I don't think it could possibly ever happen because you are just so sweet. It's really a shame that Royals will miss be missing an angel from here on out, but I'm sure it will forever welcome you back. You're still fam.

My mind's a jumble of thoughts right now and it's just so hard to find a way to express everything I've been grateful for, but I can't tell you enough, I will honestly never forget what you've meant to me.
